VIDEO FILMED LAST YEAR! I've been a potato at home in New York. Please enjoy this video as entertainment and I'm wishing everyone stay safe and healthy during this time ❤️. I am posting mini-recipe videos on Instagram if you'd like to cook with me: instagram.com/cupoftj/. I hope everyone's snacking a lot this quarantine 😝. I would love to eat palabox right now!!
Underrated video, by far. Literally cannot find a better video on YT of delicious, authentic non-westernized food from the Philippines. I love the laidback vibe, too.
The crab fat fried rice sounds AMAZING!!! I'm usually not a fan of halo-halo because too many weird (to my American taste buds...haha) textures, but that mango, banana, flan one sounds very good...
Next time you go to Philippines, you should try palabok at susie's cuisine (in Pampanga). The palabok there is also awesome. Their main branch is at nepo mart Angeles city. Razon's palabok isn't totally the original one, but it's also a good tasting palabok.
During Lock Down, everyday I have to have a dose of CupofTJ! Keep those videos coming to entertain us! Thanks TJ. Love your videos. I'm still working through all your other videos.
Those palabok noodles looked yummy, and that halo halo looked good too. You, as usual, looked utterly adorable, Miss TJ! Thank you for keeping it up, and keep that cute little chin up, dear--this will end and we will be better off for it (I imagine anyway). Hugs from DFW, as always!
Kapampangan dishes are very good and very delicious.you should try also the food in other places in the Philippnes. every food is unique in every province.nice vlog. keep it up and god bless!
Thanks for featuring our beloved Province of Pampanga. Please try to visit Bale Capampangan in City of San Fernando, a famous eat all you can restaurant that serves Filipino dishes.
I always appreciated your travel vlog TJ, please do make some more. How can you stop on the Dinner table, while I love your tours like Norway, Santorini and more?
Excellent food tour video. Your Vlog leaves the good impact to boost the culture. Cooking is my passion so i do cook Filipino food for my channel too. 😀
It may be a year old, but any video of yours is a nice respite from what we are all going through right now. Please stay safe and healthy, my friend! Take care! Watching from Maine. Hard to believe, but it's actually snowing right now.
Thank you so much friend!! It's four months old so not too bad but glad to have content to post right now ❤️❤️. Snowing in Maine?? It was crazy rainy today in New York. Weather is so strange D:
Yes, actually, it is a word, but spelled with an i instead of a y, so "perkiness" is the word you seek. Totally agreed, TJ is one of the most adorable girls on the Internet!
IT'S SO NOSTALGIC TO SEE YOU GUYS. I'M ORIGINALLY FROM F.BLANCA,PAMPANGA. I MEANT TO BE HOME THIS MONTH BUT IHAVE TO CANCEL MY TRIP FOR SAFETY REASON. KEEP SAFE AND WELL. GREETINGS FROM MELBOURNE.
Hello TJ! I hope all is well with u.. My gf and I been binge watchin' ur vlogs. She was like " how many times u have to watch it?" haha especially the Vietnam vlogs. We plan to go next year, u know after all this madness! Hope u read this and hope to meet u as well! Stay safe! Btw, u always, always make us LOL! We ❤️ u! Vin and Jones here from The Philippines! 🇵🇭😊😘
Thinking that the blood dish and bugs are out but the noodle dish looked very good and the halo halo looks very different from the ones I have had there. You should try a mango float that is yummy too. Stay safe and stay healthy
I wonder if you tasted a hint of smoked fish ("tinapa") in your pampanga palabok. Jolibee's palabok used to be garnished with powdered tinapa. But nowadays, jolibee's palabok no longer has that tinapa taste. I don't know if it's because of cost-cutting, or jolibee found out that majority of its clients prefer a meatier taste. Personally, i prefer the fishy taste of tinapa in palabok.
TJ was more successful in pronouncing palabok than her guide. I feel like she should’ve been given more food. It’s enough for a normal person… but looking at what she can eat in a Hawker center, she can definitely eat more dishes.
That's the place (ARAYAT) where halo halo started to trend. It was KMJS few years back featured that place for the ORIGINAL HALO HALO. "MOLE CRICKET" is best if it's cooked like adobo, or salt, vinegar and some spice. Pampanga is well known for COOKING EXOTIC FOOD LIKE THIS AND MANY MORE. The problem of the KAPAMPANGANS/PAMPANGEÑO now... they don't get recognize or they don't get credits for the FOOD/RECIPE they share in the Philippines. Like the "SISIG dish" little by little the origin of this dish is forgotten. If they eat it at a restaurant in Manila they'll say it's from Manila. If they eat it at Cebu they'll say it's from that place. Even the 4/5 ways Lechon of Pampanga they don't recognize it came from Pampanga. Even the best Lechon Recipe came from Pampanga. Many RECIPE that came from Pampanga are all forgotten and all been claim by other REGIONS :( Kapampangans love to cook and it's their way of life. Cousin and Food Capital of the Philippines.
🤦♀️ sorry pure Kapampangan here and mmmm I won't say anything coz its the video entertain me alot but mmmmm as a Kapampangan every places in Pampanga have unique foods. I wish you explore them by municipality since they are close to each other. If you do it again Sasmuan for seafood for some traditional permented rice side dish which is the tradional food in Pampanga Bacolor for their amazing Lelut Betis is Guagua Susie's/Natalie's traditional food. Palabok to Pancit. Mexico got the best halo halo 😔 San Fernando Spicy street food Mami Angeles sisig which i saw on the last vid. I hope to tour you the next time to see Pampanga on the deeper side. I need to show you the True Kapampangan food because we are the Culinary capital of the Philippines. I need justice on this one🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
you can tell TJ wasn't all about the crickets. when her guest offered her an extra helping, it was a quick cut to the next scene while she tossed it off the plate ;-)
Wow how i miss the tidtad ( dinuguan) and kamaru (crickets). After this lockdown I'll definitely go to my aunt's house and eat a bunch. 😍 Great vid TJ.
Hey tj! You're becoming a pinay! Next time please visit southern luzon, you'll love bicol region's spicy food. Come to albay province for the food and for the majestic mayon volcano.

Aw I do wish I was quarantined in Asia right now than in New York 😅

Now is the time to travel but to edit travel backlogs. We'll be waiting for more! Keep safe ♡
A cute potato! Hahaha
Underrated video, by far. Literally cannot find a better video on YT of delicious, authentic non-westernized food from the Philippines. I love the laidback vibe, too.
Omg I remember that restaurant!!! I had my first frog there! I love the crab fat rice!♥️
The crab fat fried rice sounds AMAZING!!! I'm usually not a fan of halo-halo because too many weird (to my American taste buds...haha) textures, but that mango, banana, flan one sounds very good...
Crab fat fried rice so good 🥺❤️
Those kinds of halo halo are so gooood, it has different and less ingredients compared to the usual one.
Next time you go to Philippines, you should try palabok at susie's cuisine (in Pampanga). The palabok there is also awesome. Their main branch is at nepo mart Angeles city. Razon's palabok isn't totally the original one, but it's also a good tasting palabok.
Ty!! Good recommendation ❤️
@@CupofTJ and keep up the awesome vids and more noods! :)
The food looks awesome I would love to visit the Philippines❤
I miss The Philippines a lot! 😢

The way you use your hands while eating is like you've done it before. Good job.
Loved it! Your videos are giving me life during this quarantine!!! Question, is it better to join directly on RUclips or on Patreon?
I saw you collab with Sonny Side a few years ago.. I’m glad you visited the Philippines. Stay safe.. the “BalsaCK” comment made me lmao.
World's cutest and most adorable youtuber!!
It looks peaceful there in the Philippines 😍 I want to try the halo halo

Best thing to watch during lockdown.
Just had some dinner and now I'm here to enjoy the food vlog! 💜
Razon's...with a short "ah". Its not Ray-zon's. Our vowels are similar with the Spanish and Japanese vowels that have short sounds
Yum.. missing most Kapampangan food except the camaru and betute (cricket and frog) which my late gran used to eat and I never got the taste for.
Omg! 2am and watching this my mouth is watering 😂😂

Your perkyness (is that a word 🤔 it is now 😉) is over shadowed by your cuteness ❤ Keep up the good work in our time of need 👍
Yes, actually, it is a word, but spelled with an i instead of a y, so "perkiness" is the word you seek. Totally agreed, TJ is one of the most adorable girls on the Internet!
Oh really? Well I personally think her cuteness overshadows her perkiness. #teamcuteness
