I get wanting intimidating aura from women superheroes but realistically, women aren't that way. All I can imagine is it coming off as lesbian-like at best. Great video nonetheless.
I understand what you mean. I believe it stems from much deeper misogyny but for the sake of keeping it simple. You can be feminine and still be intimidating, being masculine doesn't always make you intimidating. Sometimes when women are portrayed this way it does usually get considered lesbian like and there are many examples of this. But thats why I put wanda in the video as I was saying female characters should be intimidating, she is a great example in this game of an intimidating feminine character. And no women "typically" aren't that way in real life, but neither are men. But when superheroes Is the picture, the men get to be the badass saviours and women are just sex appeal, even when they acryally are badass and have amazing writing. Theyre just considered as sex appeal. This was blatant in early comics and still an issue now. I'm not saying the female characters don't look cool if they're "sexy" Sometimes they do. I just think it can be handled alot better Either way thanks for the comment and the compliment ♥️
Honestly this is the best deep dive video into marvel rivals
