The girl locked in the hanging cell is Richard's daughter (Kira Lindemann) and she's part of the show. Richard Kruspe said "I wanted to bring my daughter to the stage just ot let her know what does dad to get money and pay the rent" :) He always was a open-mind father and Kira inmediately understood his father's job it's art, music and entertainment. Live in Berlin is by far one the best shows ever played by the band, i was really all about it in 2007 when i first saw it, amazing
I love that you're going into the history. They've always been so cinematic and dynamic, but reactions always go for the newer more showy stuff. I love vintage Rammstein because it shows just how amazing they've been since the very beginning.
The song is about a father who goes to bed with his daughter every night. Years later, she is now a woman, she writes a letter to herself with her father's blood about her childhood.
You should explain the metaphors "feather in his blood" and "letter to the childhood", otherwise they never get the message that the daughter killed the father and portrays it as suicide.

I don't think I need to explain this any further. The 2 are fit in the head to understand correctly.

Awesome! One of their first bangers! I don´t know how you got there but I loved it. This concert is around 97 or 98, they have a live album of it and it´s brutal. Do something from the live in Paris concerts, it´s wild! Peace.
The concert is from 1997, Chels is right. It was also rereleased on DVD a few weeks ago. Tier means Animal, that goes to Mat.

@@stephlabab498 Yes you are right, the concert was in 1998. The tour was from 1997 until 2001. The DVD was released in 1999 and the uncensored version in 2020. I think we got it :-D

One of my favorite songs of theirs. Prob my fav song of theirs, from the same album, is Kuss Mich. However, Kuss Mich has never been recorded live.

This Berlin show was in 1998 and is one of Rammstein's live albums as well (Live Aus Berlin 1998) so unfortunately for Mat, Chels was correct lol.

Till is 35 there Chels and he is the oldest member (now 57). Flake (Fluc-ka) the keyboardist is actually 6'7 and Oli the bass player is 6'8. The two main guitarists Paul and Richard are the only ones under 6ft in fact.
Till at any age is just fine to me 😁 They are some tall dudes!

This was released years before that case was made public. They wrote a song about the case called Wiener Blut about the Fritzl case.
