I've watched pranks from US before, usually they decieve, scare, threaten and make people uncomfortable... sometimes it may cause accident or harm to prankster and/or victims. Their interpretation of Mr. Beast’s behavior is so inaccurate and funny. They misunderstand him due to the difference in cultures between Korea and America.
He gives away big sums of money and large gifts as part of the entertainment he creates, and he makes more money doing this. He has no story of struggling to make his way in the world and developing an exceptional compassion for people. He’s just good at doing a certain type of thing. In Korea, evidently, you wouldn’t find someone who gives away a lot of money or gifts to strangers. So, the girls saw this as a very novel thing, and they were speculating as to what exceptional characteristic would have motivated him to do this. They were imagining the psychology of Korean people and how Korean society works, which is quite different from America.
I like the prank videos where the elevator has a false floor or the ghost girl in them. Those are funny. The ones I don't like are those that tell people they are getting money.
I started watching Korean pranks because American pranks usually go overboard and are rude but Korean ones are more entertaining and usually lighthearted :>
