    American vs British:
"Two nations divided by a common language"! :)
    Emergency brake = Handbrake | Windshield = Windscreen | Moonroof = Sunroof | Trunk = Boot
License plate = Number plate | Hood = Bonnet | Gas = Petrol | Gas tank = Petrol tank
    Gas pedal = Accelerator
    Driver's license = Driving license
Truck = Lorry (Though it's increasingly been used interchangeably in BE)
Sedan = Saloon (Passenger car with closed body separated from the boot/trunk)
    Freeway/Highway/Expressway ! = Motorway
    Emergency lights/Signals/Flashers = Hazard lights

Actually on an SUV such as the one she is showing off, the door to the back area is called the tailgate. The area to which the tailgate opens is the cargo area. You normally wouldn't use "trunk" when referring to an SUV. Generally only cars have "trunks" which is much smaller than the back area of an SUV. People can sit in the cargo area of an SUV where a trunk is not meant for people. Trunks are strictly just for things such as groceries or luggage. Trucks also have tailgates but the general back end is called the bed.
