This actually makes me see it as overproduced. Like imagine what he could have done with musicians where u don’t need to layer and use effects on their vocals to make them sound good. Or a jazz guitarist with a clean blues type of tone. Like I’m much more impressed when something seems like it was a one track live recording and it sounds perfect in terms of mic placement, recording levels, artist annunciation, etc. like similar to the way elvis had to record, that shit was live and with no computer technology, and every time they fucked up they restarted. Pretty cool to listen to those studio takes and realize how much more talented singers and musicians really should be.
@@mikeheroes5451 have you ever heard of style? There’s no point in producing an album with just that when you can make art of its own with the production but purists will always complain
@@juanjosegarcia3377 I’m not complaining. You’re just taking my point of view as a complaint because you’re probably a fan girl who gets easily upset when anyone points out a critique about your favorite artist.
Not dolby atmos itself to get the vocals, there are AI programs to get the vocals like Xminus, and Moises, but Blink 182/ Apple/Geffen re released the self titled album, TOYPAJ, and Enema to be compatible with Dolby atmos , more clearer quality with surround sound, you can also hear those secret instruments and synthesizers you usually wouldn’t hear in the standard album release, as well as certain harmonies, and guitar parts, and Red portal just broke them down like he usually does, exposing the greatness that is hidden behind all the layers.
Can you please tell me how you managed to get the songs to download in dolby atmos? Specifically for All Of This. I cant download it in that audio format

Man after 20 years we can try to understand
felt like I was joining a cult for a second
This is why Jerry Finn was a master at his craft
this album is the GOAT
Mark is a great harmonizer ❤️
i knew there was 1 hidden poem in violence, but never knew there were TWO

Marks vocal in asthenia was crisp
Pls do one on Saturday love by AVA. The chorus after the second verse sounds heavenly when Tom sings “dreammmm”
when i dream, i dream. i dream your voice. i dream your voice, i dream your voice (stars scream). i dream your voice (stars scream). i dream your voice (stars scream). Im pretty certain thats what hes saying if you listen carefully, i used to think for the longest time it was i dream your eyes
Jerry Finn = legend.
how many blink182 albums did he produce?
@@javigodot7990the perfect trifecta Enema, TOYPAJ and untitled

You will do the backup vocals for Letters to God? I always liked the backup screaming! ^o^
You can really hear the birth of Angels and Airwaves in Asthenia and I'm Lost Without You
that always bass synth makes me melt
Can’t wait to see what you find in One More Time
Oh yeah the Dolby Atmos definitely threw things in there that you couldn’t here from the regular album, niiiiice
is it Dolby Atmos that was used to get the All Of This vocals? I've been wanting that vocal track for years.
Not dolby atmos itself to get the vocals, there are AI programs to get the vocals like Xminus, and Moises, but Blink 182/ Apple/Geffen re released the self titled album, TOYPAJ, and Enema to be compatible with Dolby atmos , more clearer quality with surround sound, you can also hear those secret instruments and synthesizers you usually wouldn’t hear in the standard album release, as well as certain harmonies, and guitar parts, and Red portal just broke them down like he usually does, exposing the greatness that is hidden behind all the layers.
thats not dolby atmos lol. thats in another phase and you can flip the left channel to out of phase and you get the "hidden" parts
sweet
if you listen to always isolated vocals, you can hear tom complimenting marks falsetto, some part during the instrumental part after the chorus
Can you please do one of these for TOYPAJ !!!
Holy sh#@ a redportal video....keep em comin. You're a legend
The things I would do to have the entire pro tools session of this album just to dissect the production and all the little details and sounds
Can you please tell me how you managed to get the songs to download in dolby atmos? Specifically for All Of This. I cant download it in that audio format
I never knew that All of this has mark singing in the chorus. I always heard Tom sing it "use my Holly come on and use me"
I ain’t knew who tf Holly was 😂!
@@91Definite i always wonder the same
i've missed your videos so fucking much
This is great
Holy fuck! The violence bridge is too similar to Tiny Voices bridge too!
Yas! It had to happen very close in time. Tom's influences at that time can be seen on this album as well as on BoxCarRacer

I wouldn't be surprised if those sounds and effects on Obvious were done by Ken Andrews of Failure who did work on that song + Violence.
What does mark say in the violence bridge?
Something about going outside that's all I got

always synth 😌
Blink 182 hasn't been the same since Jerry Finn passed away. This is proof.
4:03 if anyone has synth plugin close to this sound please let me know
this could be stupid but like, how do even get all these sounds from the songs?
Do you have access to the album stems?
Itd be dope if you could include the actual song part as well so we can tell the difference
down is sounds cooler
