Woman on a mission to deliver inclusive books to kids

Charnaie Gordon leads 50 States 50 Books, a non-profit that delivers thousands of books telling inclusive stories to children across the nation. “We specifically look for diverse books for children, ages birth to 17,” Gordon told Yahoo Life in Feb. 2022. The creator of the blog Here Wee Read added, “We look for books about kids being everyday kids. The children that are featured in these books just so happen to be children of color, just experiencing life.”
