Holy crap pile 2 here. Grandma and art deeply resonates here. My grandmother was an artist and I have been told by two different medians that she has been guiding my hand when I paint. I have been struggling recently with getting back into art after moving from across the country and unpacking and renovating the new house.

I was in the Bay Wisdom group and it seemed very true to me right now. I just went back to college at age 26 after several years of not going or thinking I was capable. I use FAFSA to pay for it for the most part. You can do any time if you end up choosing that you want that!!!

When it came to choosing a pile, I wanted to choose the productivity pumpkin, due to my yearning to be more productive in life, but irritatingly I was so drawn to the clarity carrots that I knew I had to choose them instead. Funnily, the first card drawn on Pile 2 was "productivity!" and the reading was one of the most accurate I've ever experienced. I'm a freelancer-have been for a few years-but for a long while I've really been struggling. Started off with mental health issues that made me fall behind on work, which then caused more stress. My work-life balance is completely out of whack and my mental health is still suffering. It's hopeful to know that my August 2023 self seems to be more confident, balanced, and on track.
Oh my goodness! Your hiking story reminds me of when my husband and I had to be rescued on our mini-honeymoon from the Boundary Waters. It was terrifying at points because we had no clue where the wind brought us(canoe). Wow that was kind of scary. I picked pile one and everything was spot on. I’m currently studying to become a teacher and I’m in my last set of courses and feel very unprepared for the field. It keeps me up at night and I consider just dropping out because I’m scared of failure. When she said what you’re learning now will help you in the future specifically next September. That’s when I’ll have mt last semester to student teach. Then she said I’ll be helping others in the future. Y’all I’m scared. Lol.
