Hmm, scoring continues up to 3 seconds after the match. Could scoring Algae in the processor last second, such that there is enough time to get processed, but not to be shot into the net, be advantageous? This is essentially 6 free points
I'm uncertain if each robot needs to score in auto for the RP. In the video only 1 robot scored a coral & the wording in the manual says the *alliance* needs to score 1 not every robot on the alliance. Definitely needs QA clarification
At initial look based on game manual and full field cad, it does not appear that L4 is affected. However in our testing with the one tree we have, our coral seems to sit lower on the L4 branch and makes contact with the algae on L3. We do only have 1 tree at the moment and are hoping to get a second one so that we can see the interaction of the algae and the reef trees and the L4 coral.
I hope FRC makes alge worth points for removing it from the reef because it so worthless to spend time scoring them rather than just placing more coral on l4 l2
There is no tooth fairy, there is no easter bunny, AND THERE IS NO WATER GAME! I feel lied too and betrayed.
😂 I called it back during the reveal at championships. No water. And there will be a F1 racer displaying the scores.
@@gsensel Now hopefully that f1 car has a 33 on it :)
I really wanted water in the water game
@@Mercilee-13 Someone should fill the algae with water

@@notmyrealname4340 the GM says only one coral needs to be scored which I read as only 1 for the whole alliance
Only 1 is needed but all have to leave the starting point
The manual is clear. All must move and 1 (per alliance) coral scored. I believe it is table 6-2 that shows this.
@RishikNandyalathat was my interpretation too
Before Algae removal, it seems like the higher algae would block the scoring for 6 coral pieces on L4. Is this what you have seen in your testing?
Watch the field tour video of the reef. There is a coral on L4 and an algae below it. No contact so L4 can be scored without removing algae.
the rules say if the coral is touching algae it doesnt count

How did you mock up the reef post?
We are borrowing the post from AndyMark.
@@KevinBeshearsis the reef placed at the right height? Isn't there supposed to be a base at the bottom
@@ruskcoder We didn't have the wooden base yet. It is comparable to the actual field as we were using it to visualize.
