More House MD, please! I don't know if this is up your alley, but maybe some medical scenes from 9-1-1, or Lone Star 9-1-1 in particular? They have paramedics in the field. Not a lot of humor in the medical scenes but they cover conditions that might be good to talk about.

    The falling issue:
When a person is falling never try to catch them because the risk of injuring yourself is very high. The best thing to do is trying to stand in way the person is falling and letting them slide down your body/legs

That last clip was from an episode where House was giving a lecture in a classroom. He took three cases he'd seen himself a long time ago (not cases from past episodes) and gave a lecture on them. The only symptom all three cases had was leg pain, but all three causes were different.
Every now and then, he would ask the students he was lecturing what they think happened or what they think should be done. The clip you saw was a visual representation of one of those questions. They weren't actually in the room with the patient right then.

The only doctor who has listened to my heart in the last 20 years was the cardiologist I saw about 3 years ago. None of them ever do what doctors always used to do: listen to your heart, check your pulse, look in your eyes and ears. They never seem to touch you AT ALL. I have no idea what the hell happened in general medicine over the last couple of decades, but none of them seem remotely interested in doing anything other than asking some questions and then fobbing you off to someone else.

Dilaudid- near instant effect. Before they even finished injecting it everything got sparkly and fuzzy and all pain was gone...for about 45 minutes then it wore off really fast. It was the smallest dose they give too. Now though because I have a history of drug abuse (cannabis and alcohol) they won't give me Dilaudid and just keep giving me more morphine even past the maximum dose.
Question. Do they even have other pain meds to give patients? Because they won't give me Dilaudid and they keep saying its more morphine or nothing even though I say I'm immune to morphine it does nothing. I mean even ibuprofen and Tylenol do more than morphine. Is that normal?

House M.D has tons of nonsense about medical stuff but for the times it was released and pretty long after it was still the most correct and accurate medical show, and I think it even could help some people to understand medicine better

Oh yes, you did! There is a time and a place for stuff that numbs your body and/or mind. No substance is inherently good or bad, there's just pros and cons that have to be weighed by medical professionals.
Deadly poison or health medication or party buzz... it's all just a matter of dose. Even nitroglycerin is an explosive (in ounces) as well as a common heart medication (in milligrams), and there are many crazy examples like that.

@@maireweber Kinda crazy considering a “pen tip” size amount can end somebody’s life…

Yeah, it's the dosage that matters. Back when couch tables usually had an ash tray on them, there were often acute fatal ODs of nicotine. How? Those tables are just the right height for toddlers to pull themselves up when they can barely stand. And then they put those weird thingies in their mouths and suck on them, just like Mommy and Daddy always did. The lethal dose for that body weight? Just a few cigarette butts!
