    Excellent presentation! I had both corneas resurfaced in 1996 due to map-dot-fingerprint (Cogan’s). There were dry eye problems as well as extreme pain. I was amused during the procedure because the shape of the resurfacing tool reminded me of the “Ronco” fuzz-buster used to remove fuzz piles from sweaters. After the procedure, I used Muro128 for a number of years.

    So I found out I have this 3 weeks ago. I have had dry eyes for the past few years. My vision started to become blurry in my left eye and now I have terrible symptoms in my left eye. I constantly feel like I have sand in that eye, the astigmatism is unreal, most mornings I can barely open my eye and it hurts so much, even when my eye is closed, and especially if I roll my eye. I use drops, I use an ointment but it doesn’t seem to be getting better. I know there isn’t a cure but what else can I do? It feels like my eye is being scratched and torn all day. Edited to add I am 28 years old and it seems to be progressing rather quickly, I just don’t know how far it will progress and to what…

    Thanks for the informative videos. I had Lasik done and developed epithelial skin cells on one of my eyes. I then had a epithelial cell sweep done. Can you do a video on epithelial cells from Lasik procedure and treatment for them if it occurs? Thank you

    Is EBMD a contraindication for getting Lasik surgery? What about PRK?

    • @Raider8784
      @Raider8784 8 месяцев назад +1

      It is. PRK can be done and actually may have some therapeutic effects. Definitely get multiple opinions though before going through with it.
