I totally agree. With both my mom and grandma, I would pray and ask God to heal them and take away their pain. Not knowing that they would pass away. My perspective changed and I appreciate God for answering my prayers of healing them and not the feeling that God took them away. It takes a lot of prayer to this day but all the Glory belongs to God.
This was good. On the topic of relying on parents or family members to take care of things, I had an experience recently on vacation with 11 other family members where we were on our way back from Little Ochi and got a flat tire. We were in a rental van. If any of you know Jamaica, you know how desolate some roads can be. Thank God it was in a more lively area than usual. When it happened, I wasn't scared at all because I knew the older family members would take care of it. Turns out God sent an angel in the form of a mechanic to come help us who had all the tools needed to fix the tire. He was test driving a vehicle and saw us outside the van so he came to see what was going on. It took like 10-15 minutes for him to come and it took no time for him to change the tire. If it wasn't for that person, we probably would have been there for hours because the rental van did not have all tools we needed. It's times like those where I can truly say God is Jehovah Jireh because there's no other explanation.
