I like to tape my pinky to my ring finger on both hands when I ride. I've caught my pinky on a plow stake before and it almost ripped my damn hand off. Motorcycles are nothing to take lightly
the video with the biker who slammed into the back of that one car, think it's beige or goldish car color. It looked like he didn't start braking until he was like a car length from the car, so he might've been distracted with phone call, or something, or a new rider but he didn't brake at all until it was pretty much to late. thats why i keep a good distance and also increasing distance at higher speeds... he had a very good distance from where he was to the car but when that car starts getting closer he should've engine braked and progressive braked as well even if you didn't need to come to a stop, it leaves more room for safety. but being distracted or not paying attention enough to the cars means you have extremely high chance to be in a crash.
I can understand if those cops wanted to arrest that guy, but they should have went for the key, my bike gets damaged because you just drag me off, hell no
I really get a lot out of your videos, I have to say thought, as a female rider, there were a few comments at the end that kinda took me out of the learning experience. Calling something someone does wrong feminine isn't helpful. Women aren't petty as a general rule. People can be petty, though, in situations where they allow their emotions to get away from them. Just constructive feedback, as I'm sure there are lots of female riders who learn a great deal from your content. I'm really looking forward to taking the online course.
Rushing to get past a driver who seems to want to change from turning left to turning in front of you while you attempt to accelerate past, is NOT a smart way to ride. It is illegal in many jurisdictions to pass on the right in a single lane, until the car has made its turn. That an accident almost happened is one of the very good reasons why it's illegal... Had the bike tried to pass on the right and hit the car turning right, I'm pretty sure the responsibility for the crash would have been assessed to the biker for hitting the car from behind...
Riding in a group: ride in formation where possible, like - _ - _ - and keep your distance to the front driver. 12:55 dude lost his helmet before hitting the ground. Little poem😄: Beter be smart, wear your safty gear and fasten your helmet. Or end up in hospital because you hit your empty head hard.
The jacket one was so stupid. Police acted like he was a killer or something, that's insane. They can't be sure if is the same one, plus how much is that Jacket? Very very very expensive or what? They make him drop the bike, there goes more money just in that.
The guy who hit the back of the car. Notice how he sticks his left leg out for no apparent reason. This is why we need to practice hard stops. This poor guy ended up in a position where he couldn't do anything to avoid the crash, by havi g beginner level reflexes.
The first video…. Let it go…. It’s a dumb mistake we all did at least once, it was unintentional and YOU should be prepared for that type of situation! Instead he mashed that throttle as soon as he saw the car slightly moving left (which is a dumb move itself). My father always told me "drive like everybody has no clue where they are going or how to drive" and that’s what I always did and I never got in an accident! NEVER trust other people on the road EVEN YOUR RIDING BUDDIES. If there is a human in a moving thing DO NOT TRUST IT. Just stay away give them some distance and NEVER make a move unless you have clear vision and a path already traced. In that situation he probably wouldn’t even have had to apply the brakes in the first place! Maybe let off the throttle a bit but if he was following at a safe distance then none of that would have happened
There is a longer video of that, the car had been road raging on them a bit before. So, they think that she faked out the turn on purpose. Also, she did hit the bike. So, I think with added context, calling the police isn't inappropriate.
Here we go again! Riders, before declaring yourself a good rider you must practice panic stops! You will learn to instinctively apply adequate pressure to the front brake and please, eyes on the road, not your phone!
It's incredible to see how stupid is the behaviour of some riders; stay away from the f*cking cars, that's it. Don't fight for a place in the same line, don't push the space to the limit...
honestly, i think you misread the first clip. IMO he didnt power through as his "escape plan" for being unable to brake but rather because he got impatient (for little reason, seeing that he has the time to argue) and just wanted to pass the turning car (which then didnt turn). inappropriate driving by the car as well as the rider.
I really hope I can actually see your live stream8 soon I'm 1 brand new at this you know got a KTM RC 390 that I just got from a guy on Facebook and took it had it rebuilt more or less just everything gone over make sure it was safe The most I've ever been on is a dirt bike but it was something my dad and I had always wanted to do together and when we both finally had the money to be able to do it he got very ill and passed away so I'm honor of him I'm doing everything that I can to learn to do this safely and a lot of the things that I know came from your videos and help make more sense of things then trying to read it in the book or even just going to the local DMV and them showing you stuff because they're just walking through the paces you can tell you're very passionate about his job and people like me are very appreciative for that So may God bless you and yours very much and wonderful day
The rider at the end is a total tool. Wheelies on public roads is not something he should’ve been doing. He doesn’t get to be upset that the truck yelled at him.
1st one was the bikers fault just as much as the car, NO:2 lane splitting at 45mph, maybe he should be going slower, a vast majority of incidents are the biker riding dangerously
@@CaitofFate : There is nothing to discuss,. You can just watch his videos and see how frequently it happens. Going in and out of cars blind spots in that manner is never a smart thing to do. That's why it is illegal in some states.

Little poem😄:
Beter be smart,
wear your safty gear and fasten your helmet.
Or end up in hospital because
you hit your empty head hard.
I saw someone break a car window with a headrest in a Mr. Beast video
Like 50% or more of those accidents are during group rides. I 'll never do one.
The 1 video impact you don't see the all video check againg
It's incredible to see how stupid is the behaviour of some riders; stay away from the f*cking cars, that's it. Don't fight for a place in the same line, don't push the space to the limit...
honestly, i think you misread the first clip. IMO he didnt power through as his "escape plan" for being unable to brake but rather because he got impatient (for little reason, seeing that he has the time to argue) and just wanted to pass the turning car (which then didnt turn). inappropriate driving by the car as well as the rider.
I really hope I can actually see your live stream8 soon I'm 1 brand new at this you know got a KTM RC 390 that I just got from a guy on Facebook and took it had it rebuilt more or less just everything gone over make sure it was safe The most I've ever been on is a dirt bike but it was something my dad and I had always wanted to do together and when we both finally had the money to be able to do it he got very ill and passed away so I'm honor of him I'm doing everything that I can to learn to do this safely and a lot of the things that I know came from your videos and help make more sense of things then trying to read it in the book or even just going to the local DMV and them showing you stuff because they're just walking through the paces you can tell you're very passionate about his job and people like me are very appreciative for that So may God bless you and yours very much and wonderful day
23:30 would you consider flipping the bird could be a potential hazard? I mean the driver could rage hit the biker
0:20 this rider is being an impatient fool
If you consider the crest of the hill a vertical turn, do you consider a high side a vertical U-turn?
🤔
For the Cardo discount, you mentioned you thought it was 20% in the video but the link gave me 10% off. Is it 20% or 10% at the 6:54 minute mark
That was a nice red jacket, plenty of padding and looks the part, but why no gloves?
When is the ride slow day
That red jacket red helmet video is from New York City
Wait…are you from Arizona?
The rider at the end is a total tool. Wheelies on public roads is not something he should’ve been doing. He doesn’t get to be upset that the truck yelled at him.
26:25
That biker is such a drama queen
Is it coincidence the last stage is Brown like your shorts might be at that stage?
Nope, that's the joke.
"Very feminine," really?
Guy in 6.22 on a red bike was blind..
I don't understand why so few people use a cage or sliders on their motorcycles?
The Law?
why is everyone too fast while lane splitting? ease through it 2nd gear rolling 2 fingers preloading the brake.
Often when traffic is moving decently, too. So many impatient and foolish riders.
11:30 - looks like he ran wide exiting the last (left hand) corner - ending up way too close to the right side entering the right hand corner.
For me that physical anger feeling starts right above the pectorals and that's when I know I need to take a step back and have a breather
Can we emphasize in the “ STOP PASSING BIKERS IN THEIR LANE/SPACE!!!” 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
i have a packtalk neo.
are those ok ?
Yup
What!? 🤚 huh!? What do you want!? 🤚 What!?
18:47 great job biker
1st one was the bikers fault just as much as the car, NO:2 lane splitting at 45mph, maybe he should be going slower, a vast majority of incidents are the biker riding dangerously
Legal or not (depends on the state), lane splitting is never a wise thing to do. You're just setting yourself up for an accident.
Statistically incorrect
Edit: I really wanted to report your comment for misinformation but lets have discussion instead
@@CaitofFate : There is nothing to discuss,. You can just watch his videos and see how frequently it happens. Going in and out of cars blind spots in that manner is never a smart thing to do. That's why it is illegal in some states.
@@Aberamentho2010 lane splitting is illegal everywhere btw
@@CaitofFate It is legal in California. Moreover, there are other countries where it is legal also.
@@Aberamentho2010 I'm talking about filtering not splitting
I think we're having two different arguments.
