I really like how Keith is willing to be quiet during cutscenes, when people are talking. So many RUclipsrs just can’t shut up and will talk right over cutscene dialogue. He saves the commentary for after the scene is over, which I really appreciate. Even for games I’ve played before, it’s nice to see the scene again. Also, it feels like the person playing is actually paying attention. It’s more entertaining for me to watch someone play if they seem like they’re actually engaged in the content.
I don't watch many let's players anymore, but I like watching Keith because even in multiplayer, he does seem to do his best to listen to the game and pay attention! It's great

Though not the best title in the series, I still have the strong opinion that Downpour is the titel in the series that deserves a remake the most. It had so many interessting ideas and quirks that enriched the franchise. Also the story was realy solid and much of the critic comes down to the missing polishment of the game.
Recently I watched a Stop Skeletons from Fighting video on bad games that made something click for me. I think when most people say that the later Silent Hill games were "bad games", what they really mean is they are unpolished games. But for me, unpolished doesn't equal bad. So maybe that's why I like all the Silent Hill games. Honestly Downpour is up there with Silent Hill 2 for me.
@@Freak80MC Depends. I think many of the problems in "the room" came from forcefully fitting it into the Silent hill universe. This is something you cant realy change by 'polish'. Silent hill 4 would have been much better of as a stand alone universe.

I had a garbage day at work, we have corporate coming in tomorrow so of course everything needs to look perfect, but I remembered that it was October, and you'd be doing Downpour this month, so it gave me something to look forward to. I've loved so many of your playthroughs, looking forward to this one!

Yooooooooooo you're doing this game?! I hope you do all the side quests because that's where this game really shines. The main story is a bit anemic but all the side quests really add to the atmosphere and vibe of the town. It feels like they worked more on the side quests than the main story tbh lol
I honestly think Downpour is one of the good Silent Hill games, it fits with the characters in it and a Silent Hill game involving an escaped convict is actually a good idea.
I feel like the community response to downpour was pretty bad, but I remember liking the last lets play of it I watched. I feel like this one at least understood the homework even if manages to be different. it's a proper different look at the formula instead of whatever the heck homecoming was.
The Silent Hill 2 Remake seems to have a lot of good reviews from reviewers and small youtubers so it might be worth it to play. I watched your original Silent Hill 2 playthrough so it would be interesting to see you play the remake, either this year or next year.
