Brad Angelo Played Defnse with the line he chose... By playing up the 5 board... he pushed oil into Chris Barnes Breakpoint... and caused all of Barnes throws to come up light because of the oil Brad Pushed into the breakpoint. Absolute MASTERCLASS on how to ruin another players shot. Well played.

Chris Barnes, Mika, Koivuniemi, and Brad Angelo. Did I die and go to bowlers heaven? Oh Norm Duke, Patrick Allen, Doug Kent, and Randy Pedersen, you've got to un-retire. Even with the shoestring budget, these shows are way more entertaining than the kids tour. They actually have to hit the pocket to strike and make tough spares to win, not just spin it really hard.

Last year my high score was 106 and now it's a 130 last year my average was 80’s to the ’90s and now my average for the past month was over 100
This is my 2nd year on my bowling team and the weekend before tryouts I got a 107 and then a 110 then a 130 the week after I got a 130 was a 119 but in July the lowest was 90s and on Tuesday this week I got a 119, 122, and a 105
To be honest this could be the first year I get a trophy for bowling

Thanks for sharing. It wasn't so long ago I was in your shoes (six years). This year I finished league with a 183 avg. Friendly tip to get you to a 150 average if you dont take offense..get a spare system an a plastic ball. Look on youtube for a system. Once you start making most of your single pins spares, 150 is easy. Good luck in your journey.

I expected Brad to win when that Quintero guy got a dismal 5, 2 open.

Is Mario Quintero related to Arturo Quintero?

Mika needs to work on his final position after last step. He blew a lot of pressure moments when lofting to hard cause he dont keep steady at the foulline. To bad.. imo ofcourse..

Who is that screeching in the background as Chris Barnes bowls? It sounds like Walter Ray Williams' wife, who screeches like a harpy on every ball he throws. But Chris' wife LInda is a PWBA bowler, and so his his son Ryab, who is now in the PBA. Neither of them would scream classlessly at a PBA50 event. Anyone know?

I believe that is Sweet Sweet Connie the famous groupie from the 70s. She swapped rock and roll for bowling and now tries to sleep with all the pba50 bowlers.

STOP with the "Urethane carries down more than reactive" LIE. JUST. STOP.
Also, telling someone who shoots 250 that they need to test out the waters with another ball is nonsensical.

Whew, I'm glad to know everyone else including ball reps, manufacturers and the pros are wrong about that. Thanks for your expertise on this. Can you explain the meaning of life to me or does your wisdom end on this one particular subject?😂

@@zedsodead The idea that a certain kind of cover causes more carrydown than another doesn't make any logical sense. You can choose to believe what you're told, or you can choose to use your brain and THINK, then understand, what causes carrydown and why the ball cover is irrelevant.
Carrydown is created when balls that don't flare roll over the same oil rings at the front of the lane and then CARRY DOWN the oil to the back of the lane. This only happens because low-flare balls ROLL OVER THE SAME TRACK ALL THE WAY DOWN THE LANE. If a ball flares LESS than 3-4 inches, the ball will carry oil down regardless of the cover type.
High-flare balls have a huge amount of oil on the first set of rings, but the rings at the end of the flare have almost no oil on them. The ball picks up oil on the first rings but then it KEEPS FLARING and by the time the ball gets past the end of the pattern, it's touching the lane with FRESH COVER THAT HAS NO OIL ON IT. This causes far less carrydown regardless of the cover type.
Don't believe me?? JUST LOOK AT YOUR BALL. Take a high flare ball and throw it. When it comes back, you will see the rings at the end of the flare are faint because that's where the ball touches the back-end of the lane.
Here's a picture that shows exactly what I am talking about:

@@zedsodead There's also more nonsense to call out. The idea that carrydown would be a big factor after 1-3 games is ridiculous. Modern bowling equipment is STRONG, and can easily ignore a little oil in a tiny patch down-lane. Also, balls that are usually used on tournament patterns roll earlier and by the time they get to the back of the lane, their energy is usually spent or are well into their roll. The idea that they'd say in a second or third game "the ball seemed to die down-lane so there must be carrydown" is not logical.
