Spring Awakening to go (Wedekind in 11.5 minutes)

As everybody knows, puberty is not a well of undiluted joy. The personal difficulties everybody has to face, however, are made unbearable, if nobody speaks about sex. In this respect, ignorance is definitely not bliss, but hell. Frank Wedekinds 1890 play SPRING AWAKENING depicts the horrors of adolescence in a repressive society, ending in death for various young people before their life has even begun. Michael Sommer and his Playmobil cast present a compact and entertaining summary.
