If he did not died young, he become king at the age of 67,68 like his father,but since the swedish royal family live longer he might reign for atlist 25-30 years and died 90yrs+ like his grandfather,father,sister and cousin lenart.

Actually he was the son of the crown prince. His grandfather Gustaf V was still king, and his father crown prince. Prince Gustav Adolf who was sadly killed in the crash was the father of our present king Carl XVI Gustaf, so our present king, born in april 1946, became fatherless at an age of less than one year, and his mother was left alone with 5 children, (Carl Gustaf and his 4 sisters).
