Lovely film about how equine assisted therapy can help war veterans. Some people are too tough for therapy. This works with horses because as the equine's patient says, 'They are worried about talking to somebody that doesn't understand them....You don't have to talk to him and he's not going to shove pills down your throat.'

My pleasure Gary. This made me appreciate how much horses could help this special group by mirroring important aspects about how the person is feeling and perhaps what they most need to explore about how being a soldier has affected them. Hopefully more instalments to come.

I been seeing my friend's horse as some sort of depression therapy, and I will say that working with horses is powerful.

Gary, Megan and Doc thank you for sharing this story! I love seeing Doc's heart interacting with the horse's heart! I can only image what their interaction will be like 3 months down the road.

Thank you Tamara. It was incredible to be there to see it. Amazing that he is just beginning this journey and is already so connected to Smoke.
