Thank you! Yeah, drive impact and rush will probably be quite broken once we implement it for our SF6 characters. Either way, it will be fun to see how these mechanics fair against SF4's focus attacks and SFV's v-system.
MUGEN content creation certainly has come a long way. I didn't know it was possible to import 3D character models and cinematic supers into the engine.
Okay, this was awesome but I will need the run back once Ryu is complete. His SF 6 version was at a disadvantage without his drive bar and without access to at least drive parry. Would be nice if its implemented below like the Super Bar area to maintain retaining the guard meter.
Really impressive work with the 2D Ryu sprite. Minimal differences between him and the real thing. To have it clash with SF6 is amazing work. That parry is unfair 😂
I find it genuinely impressive how the animations for this character have been so consistent, for so long, that you can make a video like this and it still makes sense visually

Calling it SF6 Ryu without having the drive system is just a sprite swap with a Hashogeki thrown in. Meanwhile, the full 3S toolkit was available for SF3 Ryu. I personally like both iterations, but they both need to have their full toolkits
To be fair, SF6 Ryu is an early work in progress, so there's a reason why he doesn't have any of his game's mechanics yet. Still, I do agree that him not having those mechanics kind of work against the concept of this video.
Drive system mechanics are a wip. It's complex to replicate this accurately, but it will get done. SF6 Ryu has accurate hitboxes, frame data, and damage values so he's actually more than a just sprite swap even in this early wip stage.
