This couple is awesome. Nice interview. I lived up in Jersey and New York for several years (from Texas). As soon as they started speaking, I knew exactly where they were from. Even with having that kind of money, they really seemed down to earth and able to connect with others. Great job on this.
I met the gentleman while walking through MotorCoach Resort St Lucie. He is such a down to earth man. How thoughtful of them to give a tour of their beautiful coach. Great Video Andrew 👍🏻 Thank You!
Chris and Cora, thanks for sharing your story. Yours is another example of living the American dream. Andrew, another great interview, thanks. Merry Christmas!
The RV lifestyle is awesome! You make friends everyday everywhere! If you are doing it a Newell, you’re doing better than most! God bless and keep living the good life!
Great interview . I was introduced to this lifestyle as a child. I love it..All of my friends think I'm crazy because of all the coach videos I forward . LOL
I like this motor coach it looks more like a home..The feeling I got was LOVE and JOY and Peace in their and I hope nothing but the Best for them and the Doggie's!" 🐕🐕💞
Andrew Steele: You do an excellent job of covering the RV world! I consider your subscription to be one of the very best. I remember your talk about detailing the tops of tall motorhomes. I think you are absolutely right about the danger. One solution might be a scissor lift. I have no idea how much they cost or rent but I used one in the vocational school while wiring overhead. They seem steady and safe as long as used on a paved surface. Thanks for all you do!
Thanks for sharing and thanks to Chris and Cora. I'm a big fan of Newells so it is nice to see something other than a Prevost and to see it in use. Great resort, too.
You came along way from detailing that red Newell Coach to this. I remembered telling you this was your lane. I see you took it & ran with it. Hopefully one day you'll buy yourself a Newell. Good work bro. It's good to see people live their dream.
I liked the comments about having friends all over the country. My wife and I are barely 50 years old now but have been RV’jng for 25 years. We are still working full-time but use our vacation time to travel in our coach. We started out racing and using our RV’s to support our motorsports hobbies but about twelve years ago we started doing more “road trips” and have met some amazing friends from all over the country through RV’ing and Jeeping. Great video. Mike
Love your videos and content. After seeing the amount of head room compared to a Prevost, I’m seriously going to do some more reading. Beautiful home and loved the floor plan. Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
I just watched this video from our home in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. My ears perked up when they mentioned touring nova scotia this summer. They mentioned knowing Kim and Harland. I am thinking that they are referring to Kim and Harland Martell from nearby Wedgeport nova scotia. I am sure I remember seeing this Newell coach passing through our town this summer. It's a small world after all.
@@RVingwithAndrewSteele oh and I should say that I really enjoy your videos and that is definitely a beautiful coach. We are so far just doing summer weekend trips in our 2005 newmar dutch star.
I do not want to repeat myself but what a wonderful and down to earth couple, nice life experience and as they said they’ve been blessed and earned this lifestyle by hard work and planning.
What a great couple, ,man you can tell that they are really people persons, as am I. Awesome video, in about 2 to 3 years that's gonna be wifey and I . All 4 of the kids will be gone, grown, and on their own by then. I'm from the south but my olders lives in New York. For sure you can tell these 2 are New Yorkers. LOVE, Love Love this vid. Thanks guys for sharing and opening up about your lifestyle. Almost feel like I'm friends with them after only watching the video. I too am 6'3" so I'll be going Newell too, Thanks again for the great video Andrew
Enjoy your life style everyday! You are lucky to have worked so hard to come back to this life style. (Retired)! Do not need Sticks and Bricks, friends are forever on the road are the most important.
Love these two, are they're absolutely right, you meet people and make friends you would likely never know otherwise. If I knew these two I'd every once in a while trick them into saying accent specific words..."what are you two towing there?" "That's our cahr!" LOL They have an amazing coach and seem genuinely great, like many people you meet out there on the road. Great share Andrew 👌
This is a beautiful motor coach, and a really nice location too. But if it were mine, I'd be all over the country with it. It would never stay parked more than 2 weeks in any one spot. If your going to stay parked, just get a house.
What a great lifestyle! As Cora says not a cheap lifestyle but what a way to live! The social aspect seems to be the best part , if you live in a house or even an apartment you rarely get interact with your neighbors if ever.
I’m going to make a very broad statement. It would be hard for me to sell my home or real estate holdings to buy a 500k+ coach. Being that it’s such a huge depreciating asset. It’s one thing that if you have the resources to purchase a coach of that magnitude and it won’t effect your life. Andrew if I were to ever purchase a coach I would do it in the manner which you have done. Great videos nonetheless Andrew keep them coming.
Dean Hauser obviously people that can afford a 2 million dollar coach aren’t. And their also not selling their homes either. It was also a broad statement too. My point to be honest was to sell your home to buy a coach is really not smart in my opinion. In these days at least your real estate will appreciate as opposed to depreciating with a coach. I don’t know you may want to read or watch Dave Ramsey some then you might understand where I’m coming from. Have a nice holiday.
I think you're looking at it through a narrow scope. I picked up on him saying something about having 2 physical locations and one mobile Detail location. I'm really really sure this thing is a magnet in advertising for his detailed business.
I don't have first-hand knowledge (let's pretend I do) of the construction on this coach and I do build furniture interiors on high-end large scale (think million square foot) commercial projects ranging mega-yachts to NFL stadiums. These veneers are very popular today and are made of natural wood strands. Architects love their uniform appearance, cost and efficient use of the natural resource. These veneers are often dyed to help control and deepen colors prior to the application of varnish coats. Across our industry, we use the term laminate to describe different manmade products (noun or adjective) which are commonly made of plastic but are also made of an array of other materials. Laminates are generally bonded to a phenolic backer, are 1/16" or thinner and ultimately applied to a substrate like particleboard. Veneers, on the other hand, are generally about 1/16" thick are commonly made of wood and do not have a phenolic backer. The veneers are directly applied to the substrate, ie particleboard. To answer your question directly, the wood is real, is dyed, is a veneer and is laminated (verb) to a substrate. Question for Newell, why don't you guys bother to end match your veneers? Your projects are small and your audience is very close to the product. This step is simple, inexpensive, and shows craftsmanship at the next level! (I notice this issue throughout your fleet)
@@deanhauser6626 , end match is a technique where a panel above and a panel below is cut from the same veneer and the grains are aligned, leaving only the gap between the panels as an indication that there are in fact separate panels. If you look behind Chris and Cora as the video starts, at the cabinet door which has a radius at the top of it, look at the top and the bottom of the cabinet door and the adjacent parts you will see that the grains do not flow from one part to the next. This is a technique called end matching and we do it on high-end projects. It creates a very organized, intentional and craftsmanlike appearance. It does take a little more skill but not a lot more time.

There’s just a different social aspect when you have a getaway cabin or you’re in your RV. My .02

Welcome to Canada Chris and Cora. I live in New Brunswick, you would of had to drive through here to get to Nova Scotia. :)

I don't think people are selling their homes worrying about their coach depreciating, life is more than the bank account

Well done video Andrew!
Do they have a website? Having trouble finding info on them
Such a nice couple. I had no idea this kind of thing existed. Cool.
What do they do for a living???
God bless you.

what s the point getting that rich and probably work hard for it if your wife looks like her??
