Thank you!!! This tutorial has been of such great help to read through the notes :)))) now is practice, practice, practice. To try to play Chopin is so great and inspiring!
By any chance you'd do Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 for solo piano by P. A. Grainger? Great video again, very informative, I'll probably learn this soon after Etude 10. No. 4
what a great pianist and teacher you are sir! it's a blessing that i found your channel, you truly bring a hope and making people dreams come true.. what an honor that i can live under the same sky and in the same time of life with you sir, pardon my english sir, but i do hope you could understand.. anyway sir, if i may, i really want you to teach some tchaikovsky, i think i don't find any tchaikovsky here, so i would really hope you could make a tutorial of him.. perhaps waltz of the flowers? thank you.. God Bless!
I want to play at least one chopin etude before the end of my musicology Cursus , next semester is my last , last semester i was able to play prelude n1 a bit slower than its supposed to, I've been hoping to play an etude summer wasted a whole month on op 10 n1 but the arpeggio is a bit too hard for me , hopefully I'll be able to play this, ur tutorial is quite helpful with the diffult rythmic , wish me luck !
This helps a lot since i can't see the tiny accompaniment notes in my old Dover reprint of the Paderewski edition of Chopin preludes and etudes which is falling apart and sadly they don't sell anymore.
Glad to be helpful! You can always google Chopin Preludes IMSLP and several free editions will come up. Also you can google Chopin Etudes IMSLP. I hope this helps you finding a good edition.
This is one of those pieces where it's actually very impressive when played, people who don't know how to play it think it's very difficult, but if you know your chords/arpeggios well in the keys used, it's actually one of the easier Etudes from Chopin. Whereas, Liebestraum #3 when played, sounds a lot easier, but is actually way tougher than this piece. Just my personal experience. Great video by the way, keep it up.
5:39 Right hand, first finger on F, not G 8:11 In the right hand, I like it better with a medium voice in E flat. As in some publications. Although Chopin did not write E flat :)
When I play it sounds very choppy even though I use this circular technique and stuff. It only sounds like that when I play fast, when I play slow it’s gone
Probably the most beautiful étude. Thanks man, learning it now 🤝🏽
Wow, thanks!
