Hi from Romania I went to the Christmas Market (Târgul de Crăciun) in the main square in Sibiu on Monday evening. There were far fewer food stalls than last time I went in 2019 due to everything being spaced out more to make it easier to maintain social distancing. There was also a fence enclosing the area and I had to show my EU Green certificate to gain access. I did have a very nice 15" diameter crepe filled with apfulstrudel for the equivalent of £3. I went to the market again in daylight but this time I had a meal at a restaurant next to the market with a clear sided marquee so I could "people watch" while I ate! I had Asiatic chicken (chicken with vegetables, spicy sauce and wild rice) followed by two large profiteroles (with cream and ice cream) and two coffees, all for the equivalent of £12 which is the usual sort of price for a sit down restaurant meal. The prices you are paying for takeaway food in England are high compared to Romania!
@@gustavthegreat2811 No, vaccination is voluntary. Sibiu requires either the Green certificate or a negative test result less than 48 hours old for entry to events or shopping malls. The rules vary from county to county based on infection rates and, to some extent, how keen the local health authorities are to control the spread of Covid.
