I don't like the little slopey/slanted pieces either. I'm building the disney Young Simba set, and a couple of those pieces go into building the legs and one piece isn't lining up and is sticking out because I had to use a round piece behind it.🤦♀️
I feel like for Ariel’s they should have made it around 60 bucks and had a mini scale of Eric’s castle on the cliff side! Or even do like the Christmas sets where you can get two sets for cheaper to get more sales and then they could have had Eric, max and land Ariel in ehr wedding dress that can change to mermaid form possibly

More of a Star Wars OT guy, but I will say Friends sets have some fantastic parts. Which reminds me, I need to carve out some time to sit down and actually work on my MOCs.
I've been to Disney twice and have trauma from those times. The first time was when I was seven and Donald Duck's beak hit me in the head when I tried taking a picture with him. The second time was in February, Mickey's ear hit me in the head the same place Donald's beak did.

You could try mercurial, your local bricks and minifigs store, Facebook marketplace, offer up...just be careful meeting up with people
