I don’t think it’s even that she keeps asking the same questions, but just that she ends up remembering the other timelines and what he is/did, which ends up happening automatically sooner or later whenever she sees/contacts with Scooby, so he just kills them and hopes that this loop will magically break, which is the most horrifying part when you realize: Velma can’t prevent suddenly remembering this and therefore cannot prevent this loop from doing another cycle of Scooby ending up killing her
Scooby why do expect the crew to be weirded out by your secret that you can talk but you and the gang go on weird and whacky mysteries together
