  • @GunsmokeTheDon

    Man that wasn’t no blessing losing Pac and he definitely wasn’t in his prime yet. He was only 25 when he passed at a time when the sound of the rap music industry was about to change into a more modern sound and he would’ve been in more mainstream movies too. His future was bright and it was cut short just when he was changing into his prime. He didn’t get that chance tho. And he wasn’t gonna off himself because he had to go back and serve 2 more years in prison. Prison would’ve been good for his ass and kept him alive and he would’ve came home in 98 or 99 and dropped another major album with a new sound and modern beats. It’s a shame, not a blessing

    • @antoniolewis
      @antoniolewis Год назад

      Sadly we were never know if it was a blessing or not. It's not guaranteed that Pac would have survived prison either as he had made a lot of enemies and of course law enforcement didn't like him from the jump.

    Tupac dying at that time was a blessing because it created his myth and blew him up to legend status. If we're honest Ice Cube at that time was a bigger west coast artist. He died before the fall off and becoming the proverbial villain. They all fall off. JayZ and Dre are anomalies for success, luck and timing was in their favor.

    • @SupremeTv4Life
      @SupremeTv4Life Год назад +4

      They are successful in business but musically they are not. Remember Pac was an actor and activist as well. So many fields he could of played in besides rap. I took Suge as saying we didn't get to see Pac old, release a trash album. I say in 25 more yrs Pac will have faded away. He will be mentioned with the greats but the generation that loves him so much we will have gotten older. The youth will be in charge and have their own legends. Pac is our legend when we die his legacy will fade away. The one thing that no entertainer can do is have everyone all over the world wear a shirt with your picture on it. Very few can accomplish that.

    • @DaMixWizard

      2Pac is not a bigger music artist than Dr. Dre. 2Pac is bigger than Jay-Z musically, but not Dr. Dre. The things Dr. Dre did for Ruthless Records is much more than what 2Pac did musically. What Dr.Dre did for Ruthless Records, Deathrow Records, and Aftermath Entertainment combined, 2Pac will never reach that level. Dr. Dre is responsible for over half of billion records being sold

    Nobody has a legacy like Michael Jackson, Prince, Elvis, Babe Ruth, or Muhammad Ali. As far as entertainment. I'll throw in Shaq, Kobe, Jordan, Jim Brown, and James Brown. Show love to Redd Foxx!

    A lot of rappers be saying shlt in dey music because it sounds good but for Tupac, his music had a LOT of death in spoken words by him so his premonition was telling him he's not gonna be here on earth for long and he lived his life reckless cuz he had somewhere to go. Being in prison wasn't what bothered Pac but being in prison as a INNOCENT man is what broke his spirit.

    His death was a blessing ? that is evil of Suge to say I'm sorry. He was at the beginning of his prime, even if he went back to prison he would of come out like a shining star. I think 2pac wanted out of rap and focus more on acting which he was amazing at. Also I think he would of been more involved in politics. I'm sure pac had depression/anxiety but don't we all at times

    He didn’t have to die but he definitely would have gone back to prison had he lived… also he lost a finger or two I believe and a lung he wouldn’t have been able to function the way Tupac functioned and he wouldn’t have wanted to live that way…. Pac wasn’t a legend when he was alive but the build up to his death and the impact he made in such a short time movies music we gave him ultimate legend status like Michael Jackson… rip bro…. Reggie and John much respect and merry Christmas big dogs!!

    What he saying is....for that fight in Vegas, Pac wouldve went back to prison for a probation plus other charges. He would've probably died in prison if so I get what Reg is saying but the death is a blessing part is wild lol

      It goes both ways, if you remember Reggie also did a video saying that if that shooting didn’t happen that night, Metro most likely wouldn’t have investigated the beating in the M.G.M, especially because Orlando wasn’t wanting to pursue charges, therefore Tupac wouldn’t have went to prison

      Why would he have died in prison? He didn’t have trouble in there the first time he went in. Don’t believe the rumors. The east/west war wasn’t gonna be why either.
