Great video thank you. I'm looking into my super now but get confused by the different fees - admin is the same across the different options but investment fees, net transaction costs and buy-sell spread is different for each option. If high growth has a better rate of return but higher fees than balanced I'm thinking does it all get eaten up by fees? I'm doing the rask money & budgeting course now, I'll do the super one next hoping it will help. Thanks for all your content!
I think the pandemic has taught people the importance of multiple stream of income, unfortunately having a job doesn't mean financial freedom or security.
I am leaving my union fund after 20 years. My brother works with aust super and over ten years my old fund was just in front but the fees where huge compared to the one I was in.
Don't be ridiculous. Use your brain. Take on the risk you are comfortable with for your particular stage of life. People living on a superannuation pension, or on an Age Pension should NOT be thinking "YOLO" as if they were some addled teenager.
