First guy was right on the buggy brake for everyone wondering. They went on the front rails of the buggy and did rest on the ground they weren’t an actual brake. It just prevented the wood from wearing away when moving the cart around.
Thanks for watching and for the info. We've found them before but did not know that 👍
They are called shaft tips and always have that characteristic wear pattern where they contact the ground.
Yay your all together exciting
Thanks Mandy, it's not every weekend that we get the opportunity to hunt together.
Awesome job finding that old property detector round great finds awesome silver
Thanks Jim, Jerry has been finding us some great old sites that haven't been detected before
Any seated day is a great day. Nice one Sean
Thanks Ryan, that was also Jerry's first Seated quarter.
@@PARelicHunters sweet. Loved the video
What a hunt what a find u lads are killing it
Terry you Legend, thanks for watching my friend.
Looks almost exactly like a place I used to hit some years ago except it was way overgrown. Used to take a brush hog with me and clear small areas along the street....til Nofolk'n way tossed me out. Sited the usual liability concerns since the other track was still in use, even though I was a good 100+ yards away from the rails. If that is the same place, I'd never have guessed the road was that extensive. Was too overgrown to tell anything. Nice finds for your outing.
Rofl...that IS the same place. Looked at my old map collection. Wow, they must have just cleared that out recently.
A guy stopped and talked with us, said he and his friend used to detect the area also. Did you ever find anything good there?
Oh and I absolutely love Matron coins omg Congratulations fellas I like to comment throughout the video sorry so many comments 😅
Hi Mandy, didn't I just read your comment? Lol. You can comment as many times as you want. We love to read them all. This year is starting out with alot of bucket listers for us. Take care and God bless
@@PARelicHunters Than you I get so excited while watching I have to comment before I finish 😅
The little decorative item is a toy cup! thanks for sharing your vids. Keep Swinging!
Thanks Mark, that's what I was thinking, from a child's playset.
Favorite find: pencil sharpener! Great coins, belt buckles, bells, and the buggy break. Thanks for taking us along!😊
Thanks Mary, I also like the pencil sharpener, it's unique and something you don't find everyday
Wow, that old house site paid off, nice work fellas!!!!!

You guys. Are having a. Ball!!! Looks like so much fun!
Thanks Janice, yes it was a lot of fun.
Awesome hunt, guys! Jerry was on fire! Looking forward to seeing you guys next weekend.
Thanks Chad, Jerry always kills it at those old home sites. I was mostly finding Iron and trash there. Hope the weather cooperates next weekend.
@@PARelicHunters me too! Sunday looks okay but Saturday looks a bit wet
@@digginghistory76 bring a raincoat if you have one
At 12:48 the metal decorated bowl is a doll house pewter bowl. It’s a very nice find.
Thanks Kristi, I was thinking the same thing.
Stand by me opening!! Love it.. Shawn fear in his eyes & Dave’s laughing the whole time was priceless! 😂 see you guys next weekend .. COS BABY .. let’s gooooo!!!
Thanks Kenny, that open grated bridge was not easy to cross. It was worth it finding the home site at the end. See you in a week.
Wow guys🤯🤯🤯🤯 Such sweet coins & relics; the pencil sharpener, the sweet old silver & copper, The Crotal & Conestoga bells, the case/compact, the little bowl thing with the flowers on it... I can't keep track of who finds what, but you know who you are, and I love you all💖💖💖💖Thank you guys.
Thanks Mona, well I (Dave) only found the broach that hunt. Jerry, Shawn and Rich found all the other awesome stuff. Some weeks I can't keep track either, Lol. Take care 🙂 💕
@@PARelicHunters The broach is awesome too Dave!!!!!!! and you are definitely awesome🥰🍀🍀🍀!!!!!!!
WOW 😳 hell if hunt fellas!!! Congratulations on all the cool coins and relics!
Thanks, researching old sites really pays off
I really enjoyed the other one. No interuptions. This is a far better way to introduce the area your hunting. Love the back ground. Missed Dave and Shawn .NORA
Hi Nora, it's good to hear from you again, hope you are well. We are trying to get out whenever we can, but it's been raining here alot. Take care 🙂 💕

Terrific hunt guys. Insulator, bell, seated dime quarter, broach amazing pencil sharpener and tons more. I loved playing around train trestles as a kid and yes we were out in the middle when the train came one day. I hung off the side as it went by😂
Thanks Tim and Kathy, the crazy stuff we did as kids and we're still here to laugh about it.
@@PARelicHunters yes should’ve been dead a long time ago😂

Rich... stay hydrated
Thanks Darryl, Rich is doing fine now.
Great Show and Hunt! That was a fancy pencil sharpener, the ones I've dug were like that but plain. Always fun digging being sat down.
Thanks for watching, that's the first pencil sharpener we ever found. They were so decorative back in the day
Sweet finds I'm so happy for your seated coins omg I think they are Amazing and for it to be a 1st awesome Thanks for sharing I enjoyed 👊👊
Thanks again Mandy, we don't find many Seated coins and to find two at one site is like hitting the lottery.
Nice hunt guys, the bridge crossing was pretty cool!! Love the old coins
Thanks Brian, it was a little scary for Shawn, he doesn't like heights,, but I enjoyed it.
@@PARelicHunters you guys coming to Berks County this weekend for COS?
What a great hunt, guys! Seated dime, quarter, largie, and IHPs!!! I love the bells and the pencil sharpener is very cool. Dave, your brooch is gorgeous! I believe Shawn's "compact" is a cigarette case. Awesome hunt!!!❤
Thanks Cynthia, the guys had a great day, I mostly dug trash, but was happy finding the brooch. I think you're right about the cigarette case. Take care 🙂 💕
Quite a day, do I need to tell you I am envious? There are lots of similar areas here, but I have been spooked by the rattlesnake population. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Granddad, the only thing we run into in the woods are ticks. Always have to check yourself when you get home.
You all are some bad boyz😁I am watching now...
Thanks Mona, You're the best! ❤️

That "compact" looks like a cigarette box? Nice finds guys! Rk.
Thanks Richard, I was thinking cigarette or cigar case also. 🤔
Nice finds
Thanks again
I got a big kick out of the crossing the Train Bridge. I myself would end up getting vertigo. You all work well as a team. Scored some goodies on these spots.. Happy Hunting . Spring is here.. Peace
Thanks Danny, It took alot for Shawn to cross that bridge, it had metal grading all the way across it. It was worth it in the end.
Wow Seated quarter. Nice
Thanks Ryan, don't know why all the coins were in bad shape though.
Great hunt guys, Awesome coins and relics !!
Thanks Dennis 👍
Awesome silver 💯🏴☠️
Thanks, we don't find Seated very often.
Wow, must of dug 30 nice relics and then all the coins, what a hunt guys. Seated dime and quarter, amazing. Loved the 2 bells too. ATB Steve
Thanks Steve, those old home sites are really paying off.
Amazing finds guys! Awesome location to hunt very private with no one watching from the outside - those are the best spots! 👍👊👍🤠😎
Thanks Paul, it was a long walk to get there but definitely worth it.
Kick ass and take names guys!!!! Fun channel to watch. I like the humor mixed in between you guys. Makes it fun and adds that extra element that keeps it intteresting. Keep it up
Thanks Busy Diggin, we have a great time.when we're together. Thanks for watching and for the comment. Take care and Keep Swinging
I believe the compact Shawn found might actually be a cigarette case. Love, love the pencil sharpener!!! 💖 I've never seen anything like it before. Awesome find. Beautiful belt slide, too! Congrats on all the great coins. Sorry about the migraine, Rich.
Thanks, I think you're right about the cigarette case. The pencil sharpener was the coolest Relic found that day.
Great hunt 👍👍
Thanks for watching, we're glad you enjoyed the video
Since I recently discovered you guys, I'm catching up on old vids. This is a beautiful place, especially in fall/winter. I love hiking in places like that. Nice coins! Keep hunting!
Thanks for watching and for the comment, we have to do alot of hiking to find these old lost home sites in the woods. Hope you enjoy watching some of our other videos as well.
Congratulations on the great finds guys! Great site
Thanks Deej, looking forward to meeting you at Come out Swingin

Thanks Gary, we have been doing alot of research, and hitting new spots in the woods.
Awesome hunt! I enjoyed watching this!

Awesome finds!! Weather is still pretty crappy in Erie. I'm a fair weather detecter..lol. Hope you head feels better Rich.
Thanks Arlana, we try to get out no matter what the weather is.
Great hunt and awesome finds! The pencil sharpener was spectacular!!!
Thanks Shannon, when they came out of the woods and showed me it, Rich and Jerry couldn't believe I knew what it was.
Great hunt guy’s thanks for sharing can’t wait to get back at it just a couple of feet of snow left 😊
Thanks James, I bet you are going stir crazy. This has been our mildest winter every
Yes I am going crazy but have worked had over the winter to get some new permissions so it will be a great season ahead of us.

@@PARelicHunters yeah I should be getting a paycheque from that one lol 😆
Awesome finds. Love the seated coins.
Thanks Patrick, we don't find those to often.
Awesome hunt!!! Cant go wrong with some good finds! Good luck and happy hunting!
Thanks Austin, in tomorrow's video we go back to that site to find even more lost coins, relics and bottles.
Awesome job guys!! Putting in the hard work and paying off 👍 definitely a cowbell Shawn, not Conestoga but still an awesome find! Definitely a heel plate piece though! Great coins and relics all around! Love that seated quarter 👊 Wicked happy hunting!! Dave, your package is on its way!! Thank you! I put some extras in for the crew and Shawns Legend cover! ✌️
Thanks Chris, we appreciate it. We ran into a guy at the train station whi said he and his friend have been detecting that area for years. Glad we found the home site before they did.
That’s was one heck of a hunt guys! Very enjoyable video.
Got my first seated quarter the end of last year. Mine was a 1877.
Thanks Kody , and congrats on your Seated quarter, that seems to be a popular year for seated.
Nice hunt cool finds thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks for watching, Charlie. We appreciate your support to the channel
Amazing what a quarter could buy in 1861. Lots of good finds fellows, enjoyed watching this one. My cousin and I found an old train station too back in the woods near Jennerstown Pa. back in the seventies but I never detected it. I have some great memories of western Pa. In the sixties and seventies, use to have a lot family around there. Thanks for episode, awesome 👍👌
Thanks, I'm sure it could buy alot, people made sure they didn't lose them back then. I've been to Jennerstown raceway before.
@@PARelicHunters I have a cousin that races there Barry McVicker 👍👌
The last area all of you were at hope you can go back again. Wow looks promising. Congrats on the IHPs the Seated Dime and Quarter. And Large Cent. Very cool Cordal Bell. Sorry about the migraine. Loved the other bell also. Just wondering on the pencil sharpener was there a Pat. Date on it. I dug one up a couple of years ago Pattened in late 1800s. I have to say that was my favorite Relic you found that day. Have to agree Heel Plate and a Skelton Key. Both should count as checked off on list. Awesome Video guys. Take Care
Thanks, we did end up going back and found a few more things. I don't think there was any pat. date on the sharpener. I thought that was the best Relic also
The little fancy piece at 12:40, looks like furnishing for a doll house 🤔
Thanks for watching and for the comment, we think you're right about that.
As always guys great content. That first place/island was definitely giving its treasures to you guys. Seated dime and quarter, IHPs, bell and all the rest. Second site was still producing. Thanks for a great watch.👊🏻👊🏻
Thanks Chad, we ran into a guy at the train station who metal detected with his friend. He said he has been detecting the area for years. Glad we found the home site before he did. We are going to have a great time at COS.
Beautiful scenery/you guys are Sooooooo funny
Thanks Lynn! We like to think so lol
What an awesome hunt, i found a pencil sharpener like that one. It was in one of my first videos, i believe they were made in the 1860's
Wow, that's cool Joe, I've never seen one that old before.
Awesome hunting, guys. I wondered if that large compact case was one of those ink stamp pad cases. Cool old finds and very beautiful scenery! Well done!
Thanks Rich, I was thinking maybe a cigarette or cigar case.
You gentleman are making us want to leave the jersey shore and head to Pa to poke around a bit. One thing we bring when the boys and I go metal detecting is a fully stocked first aid kit that we keep at the limo and a smaller one for "problems" out in the field. Coffee and Tylenol will help most headaches. Our caddy holds that for us. What backpacks are you using? Are they holding the metal detectors safely as you hike to the location? If you are ever in Tom's River let us know!
Thanks Tom, that's a good idea about a first aid kit. We carry our detectors back to the locations. The back packs are mainly for food and water when we are out all day.
I always carry ibuprofen and antacids with me. I'm Daddy Shawn of the group. The only one prepared. Lol
Great finds, congratulations on all the cool relics, and especially the Seatad Silvers! Hoping to bump into you guys at the Swing into Spring event in Boyertown this weekend as well. Take care and good luck 👍
Thanks, Im sure we will see you there. Hoping to find something good this weekend.
Haha you guys were basically on my drive way....I live back there
No way, are there any older houses back there. We're always looking for a place to door knock for permissions. Thanks.
So sorry about the migraine! 😮. They can be debilitating! You’ll catch up next outing !!
Thanks Anjanette
I know where in Adams county there is an old house foundation and barn hill. The land owner is currently working on the area.
Cool sites, great hunt! Congrats on the seated coins; wonder what’s in the soil there to corrode silver like that…
We were not sure. Maybe just very acidic for some reason.
Great hunt love the woods been hunting and abandoned mill village nothing but foundation left house sites every where and un merciful saw briars
Thanks Steve, what kind of things are you finding?
Pocket watch ladies pendant watch tootiesy car pennies tons of glass only been twice
26:40 💥💥💥Not buggy brake...It is a buggy shaft cap. Both shafts had caps to protect the tips when contacting the ground. It will have a nail hole at the top and a triangular wear pattern where it contacted the ground.
Thanks for for letting us know. I believe they still call them buggy brakes as when you put them on the ground after disconnecting the horse the buggy will not roll away. You are correct in how it works though. It doesn’t rest on the wheel to slow the buggy down. We were incorrect in that. Thanks for watching and the comment. We are still learning. This hobby is the best!
@@PARelicHunters nope! that's not what they are for. they're to protect the horse. them buggy shafts will split and splinter from the abuse they goe through without them on. they keep that from happening and from piercing the side of the horse and killing it when they go ape shit crazy, which they do at times. if you ever see an amish DUI, you'll understand. lots of good finds there.
Subscribed and watching all the way over here in Australia
Thanks Tim, and welcome to our channel. We hope you enjoy seeing what we find.

Super nice finds. .Too bad the silver was in bad shape there. Thanks for the video.
Thanks Dan, there must have been bad soil there, even the Indians were bad.
I super enjoy the hunts you guys have. I wonder what was in the soil that made your silvers so messy. Keep up the great hunts!
Thanks Rich, it seems that all the coins we found there were in bad shape.
@PA Relic Hunters I didn't look, was there many conifer trees? They make soil acidic.
@@richgoff9737 I don't know what a conifer tree looks like.

The one with the headache, ask your doctor about Sumatriptan 100mg and Naproxen 500mg, taken together! It has been a life saver for me! I can take it and still go to work! I use to hide in the house with painful migraines or go to the ER for shots!

Should of stayed where u guys found the seated coins, nice LC's, IHP 's, relics Nice Hunts !
Thanks Perry, we did stay for awhile
Good one man while crossing early train bridge. "Hold on I think I hear something" , 😂RUN.... SOMETIMES THEY COME BACK( Steven King )? Or THE OUTSIDERS?
Thanks John, even though that bridge was not in use, that's all we could think about while crossing it.
You can date the broach by the clasp. A “C catch” of some type was in use from about 1850 to 1910. After that safety clasps we’re used.
Thanks Debra, we did not know that
You all should dig the old house pits. There are usually tons of old glass in them. How do you find old maps.
We just started digging privys at some of the old sites we locate. Watch our video, How to find lost treasure using your phone. Jerry explains what old.maps and apps we use
The scrotal bells and Conestoga bells are rare in Fla..but they are found..ice wagons I suppose
Thanks, we do find alot in Pennsylvania.
The Coronet large cent was issued by the United States from 1816 until 1839. I found an 1838, which has the "Young Liberty" head.
Thanks Lee, it's hard to keep track of the different types of Large cents and years they were minted. Congrats on yours.
The metal case at 6:00, is an Art Deco period, cigarette case.
Thanks, we were thinking it could possibly be that. Not something you find everyday
My flying eagles and fattys always came up 15/16
Yes they usually do, coins were not reading their usual numbers at this location.
Needs more cow bell!
Thanks Frank, you can never have enough cow bell
That's a cow bell,
Yes, you are right! It remains on his bucket list😊 Thanks for the comment.
Loved the video. How do you go about getting permission to hunt railroad property? I have some places I’d love to go but don’t know who to ask.
One of the guys knows someone who works for them and asked about detecting the woods and surrounding area.
Old cigarette holder. They were popular around the 1930-1950's.
Thanks Michael, I was thinking cigarette or cigar case. It's a first for us.
@@PARelicHunters back in those days there were no filters on their cigs. So it looked as though they'd fit right in that case. I enjoy your videos a lot. All of you seem to be a perfect fit personality wise. The vids are great entertainment. I live in California. The really good and exciting targets are few and far between. Most good areas are unlawful to dig. Hope you all do well.
I spotted a deer stand..14:46
We see them in almost every wooded site we go to.
what about the tree stand at 14:27 did you guys see it
Yes we saw it there. We run into trail cams also while in the woods
Just wondering what mode and frequency your using with Equinox. Indians usually ring up with a higher vdi up here in Wisconsin. Might have to go back to old sights and dig those 16 - 17 vdis. thanks
