My amazing audience seems to really enjoy when I travel around and see new sights and eat great food. So I decided to create a new mini series about traveling from Canada to Jacksonville, Florida.
We’ll start in Buffalo New York, fly to Fort Lauderdale Hollywood airport, spend a day and a half in Jacksonville, Fly to Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina then back in Buffalo where I'll be stealth camping in the parking lot.
This is part 5 of my trip to Florida where I'm headed home back to Canada. Before I leave Jacksonville I thought a nice breakfast at a mom and pop restaurant would be in order. I found this restaurant called BREW Five Points and ordered two of their most ordered breakfast tocos, the OG which is bacon, chimi fried egg, white cheddar, avocado, pickled red onion, cholula and the Chorizo and Potato, chorizo, roasted sweet potato, white cheddar, fried egg, chile sauce. After finishing breakfast I headed to the airport. I needed to top up the rental cars gas tank and while there saw a Waffle House and just had to stop in and grab a waffle and coffee before heading back to Canada.

I really don’t understand the tipping culture in the states, went to the counter and ordered your own food, cleared your own plate and you gave them a tip. That wouldn’t happen in England.
Since covid, it's pretty common to leave a little tip even for takeout. Maybe not 15-20 but a little. And kens usually very generous and appreciative.

I live in the States and I don't understand it either! I often don't leave a tip for takeout.
Servers or Restaurant Employees, are Taxed 8% of total Sales for the week. So, if they Sell $2,000? They have to pay $160 regardless if, they made a $160 in Tips.

Chimi is Chimichurri which is a sauce used in Argentinian cooking, it comes in green and red varieties and cholula is a Mexican hot sauce
