I have the regular ST X Model and one I noticed about it that aren't covered in many reviews is the infotainment screen, though it's larger than the older model, the customisation of the screen is poor, meaning that many things are crammed into particular views and aren't very clear. I find the Android Auto page to have a very dull look at. I don't know what it is. It's just not sharp on other cars that I look at. Also the camera views on the screen are adjusted for left-hand drive cars. So when you're reversing the image just does not look right. It's like you've a blind spot on your right hand side. And to add to that having the 360° view on the right side of the image means that the rear camera view is a small as was on the previous car which had a 9 inch screen. And it can't be removed. And the image is distorted with muted colours. It's one of the downsides on an otherwise fair car.
Yes German Junk I had my fill of them not as reliable as there cracked up to be and so expensive when they go wrong and they do go wrong. I don't buy anything German
What I find annoying on these Kugas is the auto headlights is set to default as soon as you start the car... pretty annoying and even if you set it to off, it will set to auto once you turn off the engine.
Does the 47mpg take into account money spent on electricity? How many miles/kWh does it get on electric running? I think for PHEVs we need to see total miles and total gallons plus total kWh then you can work out your own costs. So many company car owners have PHEVs as they are lower BiK but they never plug them in as they get fuel card but can’t claim back electric consumed at home. Makes no sense.
Not over keen on the exterior design not very sophisticated at all and the price ! No point in complaining I suppose, they are all taking the hiss these days :)
