I really love this bike and Kawasaki at all. I bought an 2000 ZX9R in February this year and I love it. Thanks for your video bro.

@@f15hlermoto The zx9r is my first superbike after riding a 2006 Suzuki SV650N for two years. I bought the ZX9 very cheap and the carburetors are not yet properly synchronized. That's why the machine doesn't run properly yet. Nevertheless, all I can say is "I love this bike!"
I like the wide tank and especially how you can stretch over it. I find the seating position very comfortable and the bike can be steered much more precisely via the front wheel. The bike has an incredible amount of power and that's despite the fact that the carburetors are not set up correctly. Here in Germany 9er Ninjas are very cheap to have, because hardly anyone wants to have carbureted bikes. I think the machine is great, for little money.

You are good at getting to the point and have given me the confidence to upgrade my shock soon, but I wish you would keep some of the more gritty work so it's more useable as a guide. Thanks for the upload!

I appreciate your 636 content! Recently I got a similar silver 636/J2 2002 version as my first bike! It is working great. I'm still relatively new to all of this (Got my license last February). But when/how can you tell the stock rear shock is worn out and time for a change? As others I am also eager to see your follow-up video to see how you like it!

Hi and welcome to the channel, my shock was really rusty and whenever I hit a bump with a pillion on the back it would always bottom out and felt like a pogo stick . Because of this I decided it needed changing

I accidently got RUclips recommendation on your video. Thank you for sharing it. I also have a question regarding shock.
I own ZX-6R, 2003, model code: B1. I compared rear suspension part numbers of ZX-6R 2001 and 2003 and looks like all are the same (dog bones, swingarm, triangle which connects everything and etc.). Like you I also upgraded rear shock taken from ZX-6R, 2021.
I do trackdays with mine NINJA but unfortunately I felt the only difference - softer spring on 2021 shock. Also by measuring with calipers I can see that on 2021 the spring is lower in diameter. It is good because original spring is very hard (unless rider weight is like 150kg). My weight is about 86kg without gear. But with 2021 shock rebound problem still remain. Our track is very bumpy and more left corners so left side of the tyre is all chewed and the shock after riding is of course quite warm. By tyre reading it is rebound problem and it just feels that this 2021 shock then is cold it does some rebound damping but then it is hot you can close all damping nut all in and you don't see any difference then bouncing the rear of the bike. Mine shock was used but not much so I doubt that it has any damage. I am thinking about changing the oil in it to more viscous. What about your ZX-6R ? Do you feel any clear difference then you closing rebound damping nut and bouncing rear of the bike? 🤔🤔I think that 2013-2021 ZX-6R has different linkage and that i Kawasaki mounted thinner spring. Then you have softer spring you also use shock with less damping. I think 2001-2006 ZX-6R has the linkage with higher leverage and the shock from 2013-2021 is way to soft event with all rebound in 🤔🤔

Thanks, i was about to instal 21 shock, for my bike, it seems that is a waste of money. Need to find better way of upgrading :)
