Hi David! I just saw you uploaded this. I'm currently still trying to remove a nasty rootkit from my PC so i did not sleep. As a therapy i'm watching your wifi hacking video. My root kit scanner is stuck at 99% for the last 3.5 hours now haha
What's the demand for the traditional network engineer going to be like 5 years out? Unless you're working for an ISP, VAR, a large cloud provider or enterprise that's large enough to sustain their own private datacenter, I don't see much future this role.
@@shotgun1995hot Just so I'm clear, I wasn't even referring to AI but more so the shift, particularly by SMB's, towards an all-cloud infrastructure. this video explains better what I mean ruclips.net/video/FvVMrZzkGkM/видео.htmlsi=_OrAc2GxQdq_ahBN
@@shotgun1995hot Just so I'm clear, I wasn't even referring to AI but the shift by many companies, mostly SMB's, to a predominantly cloud infrastructure. For example, where I work there isn't any on-prem infrastructure and the company I work doesn't manage its own private datacenter. Our entire infrastructure is on Azure. No need for network engineers.
Im in blue teaming, I’ve done some coding before as personal projects in JS. Prepping for my CCNA cu I want to become a network engineer. This video gave me peace of heart cuz I love coding and I feel more free and less judged for liking it but still wanting to work in network and not necessarily as a web developer (which doesn’t mean I can’t do it on the side). Thank you.
More than 14 years ago I had finished my level 4 CCNA certification training, after long time, I think and believe I need to re-learn that materials because I never use that knowledge in jobs and I have plan to use in the near future. Is it possible to regain the access to my netacad account ? I forgot my password
Hi @david sir i want to learn and implement in my career as a cyber security is this CISCO Certificate will help it out kindly suggest me? I am huge huge fan of yours since i am not from the IT background
To network engineers, AI is just another application and should be treated as such. Maybe it is a datacenter application requiring large flows and long connections, but still its an application just like IoT, Blockchain, VoIP etc. Don't buy into the hype.

I still believe upcoming network engineers need to learn basic and analogue paths towards network and security
Agree with you 100%
Cloud and whatever that is built on networks

@@shameermulji when ai start to messing thing up, you will revert back to traditional way.

I sure am glad I went all in on my studies and certification; starting in 2018.
Do you mind sharing the roadmap, from the beginning?
david always dropping hits and thank you davide .

Cool! Thank you! I did Machine learning for beginner for the certificate. I wonder if it can carry over the AI....🤔
Machine learning is a subfield of Artificial intelligence, so yes, it will carry over.
David teaches networking basics in a great way. 4:09

The fact that he goes to Harties #lekkerdavid
This is a fuggin weird comment. Get a life.
Cisco's social narratives always makes me laugh out loud. Give it a rest Cisco it's 2024 and nobody is buying into that nonsense anymore. Hello...
What do you mean?
Haha spot on. Next certification will be Windows 11 for Network Engineers Associate.
