Your video sound volume is very low because you're using cheap Chinese headset. Your details are lacking. You didn't know about business processes and 3rd party app integration like SAP. You ignored the fact 90% of North America uses X12 and not XML maps. I work for a multi national company with more than 10,000 customers. Please delete your video and stop wasting people's time.
@@computermech Thanks for the feedback. I'm surprised you are struggling to hear as this does not seem to reflect other listeners' feedback, however there is always room for improvement. As for the SAP comment I have worked for some of the world's largest logistics companies (Billion Dollars in size) and nearly all of the integrations that are file based are XML. I do know lots of companies are slower to move to new technology and IBM although very powerful with EDI is lacking in other areas. I actually have a separate session for EDIFACT which I'm sure your aware is the European equivalent of x12. This session was a very basic introduction to IBM and is by no means meant to act as a full knowledge base in the short hour episode. I walk through the input file format and if you decided to use X12 you can use the message type you have and the mapping process will be very similar. If you require more detailed understanding or examples I can certainly look to provide that
having been a sterling mapper for almost two decades, great job explaining some of the main points of the mapper!
