Oh my goodness, I got so happy when you said Minnesota is basically Canada. I’ve felt that for years but it felt presumptuous…. Anyway, if I could live anywhere, it would be Minnesota, and I would love to visit Canada. I want to go to SFR really bad, but I found out my oldest might have a conference at the same time….and my husband wants to chaperone. Ack!
Girl you are spot on about the US. My family did a driving trip from Kansas City to San Francisco, California this summer with our three teen boys. We saw mountains, deserts, canyons, oceans, forests and big cities. We experienced temps ranging from cool, foggy and refreshing to dusty and blazing hot and everywhere in between. It was a GREAT experience but a one-and - done type of vacation!
I love to cross-stitch! In fact, much of the time if I’m watching your videos, I’m cross-stitching. (Unless I’m doing chores. 😉😉) Thanks for answering my question about wax stash! Great answer. I am also a homebody. 👏
I would love to get back to cross stitching soon! I have a few pieces half finished that I want to finish up! What do you do with your finished pieces? There’s nowhere local to have them framed here, and I don’t know how to lace the backs myself and tighten them around a frame! Do you do your own finishing or take them somewhere?
Oh my goodness! Yes!!! A good nightgown is the best. I (Jessica) am a nurse, and I get off my 12-hour shift at the hospital and run in the door to change into my gown. It is the best!
Robyn I loved this! It was great getting to know you. I change my wax everyday my problem is I get nose blind a lot I find I’m always ask my son or husband if they can smell the wax or not. I absolutely love all of my Scentsy products. I love when I get mail from you I know there is always some goodies in there it always makes my day! I wear nightgown a lot love them so darn comfortable. I change my décor every season but my favourite is fall I seem to have more fall stuff than any other season. 🍁🇨🇦
Sometimes having alternating warmers with different but complimentary scents can help with nose blindness! I’ve noticed some scents I go nose blind to easier than others but I can’t find a pattern!
I have my eye on a pearl colored Buick Enclave!! It’s like we are sisters from another mother!! 😂 I loved my Chevy equinox. I have a Nissan rogue. It’s nice, not as nice
Omg so many things I’ve learned I need from this chat! In no particular order: 1) that chopper 2) cozy cotton long nightgown- my version will be long sleeves- is yours? 3) plastic bags for my TB’s - you told me - I didn’t listen. 4) timers and glowy candles 5) fall/winter hybrid bedding rather than separate fall and winter - GENIUS I like to keep the same decor for all year round aside from fall and holidays. I like to go extra and TAKE PICTURES of each room so I know exactly where to put everything too. That way, I don’t have to deal with the where and what. I mean, I’ll change it up if I feel inspired, but I’m pretty solid in my vibe these days. I want to go from summer to fall to holiday to general without thought. Pictures …. my mom’s genius. These were really fun questions and answers - well done everyone!! Super fun and cozy chop and chat, loved it!
Hey Robyn one of the very first videos I watched from you when I got into wax was a chop in chat two years ago. I couldn’t keep up with my Friday favorites for the same reason.
Great video, Robyn! I totally agree about Farmhouse Fir and am keeping my fingers crossed we see it back soon. I hope I will get to meet you in Minneapolis! I loved getting to hear about life in your neck of the woods. I am originally from a town about that size and sometimes miss small town life. And I too appreciate the comfort of a good nightgown (my husband makes fun of me but I don’t care haha). Thanks for sharing! 💜
You are perfectly positioned IMO and I looooove that we can see your pumpkin warmer over your shoulder. Your nose is a pro! Scent Notes: Master of Whispers** - Aged oak, pressed parchment, tobacco leaves, hints of leather, quill ink, and vanilla whiskey. So cool!
It was fun getting to know you! I also like gaz smell and the smell before the snow! What I also like is the heavy damp soil smell we sometimes get in the Spring. I also like to decorate for Fall/Halloween, Christmas and Easter and a little bit for Valentine’s day. But sometimes I don’t do much because my decor is in the spare room wardrobe and I just have to much stuff to shuffle around 😩
I love seasons and themes for holidays but I have to invest a little at a time. But my favorite is Halloween filled by fall and Christmas… I’m working to buy more for valentines and Easter… I need to invest more in 4th of July, thanksgiving aside from my pumpkin 🎃 obsession.
Ohhh remember when there was a snow storm in Texas. A few ladies in the scentsy FB group were asking us Canadians what to do. They didn’t have snow shovels at home or snow scrappers for their cars or even salt to just go and buy they thought we were joking and it was weird that we put salt down
Ohhh I have a favourite to share with you Robyn!! I have a hands free leash for my dog. It’s suppose to go around your waist but because I have sciatica I put it just below my chest. It’s amazing especially having a kid with you you have that extra hand to help with her bike or what ever she brings. If Nova this to pull I just lean back a bit
That’s a great idea for most dogs! Ben’s big enough to pull me over or knock me to the ground if he was around my waist or chest lol. It takes my full body to hold him back. He’s insanely strong!! 🐕
@@RobynH oh wow! My neighbour has three big dogs. One is a cane corso, another is an XXL American bully and the other one is a mutt which is a mix of some kind of breed like those and she wears all three of them around her waist for control. She was the one who told me about it
Lol, yes! Snow is common September to May, although October to April are usually when it sticks and builds up. I’d die if it was hot 9 months a year!!! Anything over 70 degrees and I wilt lol!
Hello from Iowa Robyn…. I had so much fun watching this video last night! I have to tell you some funny things… My favorite smell in the whole world is the bottom of dogs paws!!! I called them “Frito Feet”. My second favorite smell is a horses muzzle right next to their nostril. Don’t be embarrassed about saying that you love the smell of dogs paws because people don’t know what they’re missing🤣I absolutely hate to travel and love nothing more than being surrounded by aromatherapy, candles, Chihuahuas, and a cuddly blanket. When I would work my long 12 hour shifts in intensive care I used to tell my fellow nurses how much I missed my bed and how much I loved my bed!! If I had to name one thing that I hate the smell of, I would have to say bleach also. It gives me an instant migraine and makes me sick to my stomach. When I went to look for a vehicle a few years ago, I searched and searched so many choices. I chose a Buick Encore. I am tall, and it has the most generous headroom. Even my 6‘3“ son has no problem having enough room even with a sunroof! You will love your Buick. It is the most amazing vehicle so comfortable and so many safety features. As I watched your video and you shared so many things that were identical to my thoughts, I just laughed and laughed. Thank you for being such a genuinely delightful person!!🤩
The Buicks really are so comfortable and well thought out! Glad to hear you love yours!!! Lol Frito Feet! 😂 Yes, nothing beats your own bed!!! Especially after a crazy work day!
Loved your video!! I didn’t get to see it live but I came home from work and put it on. I can’t believe how fast it went. I enjoyed what you shared. I am still in awe about where you live. Idk….. summer sounds great with the daylight. I love the long days…. But I get the seasonal depression so not sure the darkness would be good for me lol. And the northern lights…… a bucket list for me but idk if I will ever get to see. We actually have had them here this spring/summer but right where I am there is too much light pollution 😢
The long days are pretty neat, UNTIL you want to go to bed but the sun is still up 🤣. The winter, yes, seasonal affective depression is a major issue. Most folks take vitamin D in the winter as we don’t get enough sunlight and what sun we do get it’s too cold out to spend enough time outside. But the summers are beautiful with nice long days and it’s always bright.
Oh my goodness! I love being home so much too and so glad to hear someone else does, I feel like a weirdo sometimes. I can’t do meal planning either for the exact same reason, I have to be in the mood for something. We live in Louisiana (have always) but visit Texas often. It has its own vibe for sure! Would love to visit Canada one day. King Cake is super yummy! Such a fun video.
I do something similar where a few days are left purposely unplanned and there are a few dishes that we plan to make sometime that week - less restrictive than specific days!
Robyn I’m listening and love hearing all about where you live until you said winter 8 months out of the year 😮 I was like oh heck no! LOL I’m in Pa and our winters are not what they used to be. As I get older the cold and heat are a lot to tolerate. But please go someplace tropical and then do a video of what you thought. Have you been to different parts of the USA? I’m in Pa. A little north of Philadelphia. For me I would love to go to Niagara Falls…. I hear the Canadian side is beautiful. But we do go to the tropics more then anywhere else. It’s my happy place. Cross Canada trip is on my bucket list. I have been out west. Only because my son was in the military and stationed in Washington state. Last summer we took the ferry to Victoria and it was beautiful. Lots of fun! But I never made it to Vancouver like I had hoped. We were out there too close to Covid and crossing over into Canada was too complicated at the time we could have gone. But the mountain range in that entire area is stunning
I did buy the Ninja Air Fryer you talked about in your Favorites video last year. I was previously very skeptical about air fryers and I have to say it has been a dinner GAME CHANGER. I love it and use it at least every day if not every meal…so thank you!
This was fun! It was fascinating hearing you talk about Canada. My hubby and I went to BC Alberta on our baby moon and it was amazing!! Please do your Teddy Bee’s hauls again! I miss them! 😊
The left has Tiger Eye Pumpkin and Forever Fall, the right has Enchanted Pumpkin and Starry Pumpkin. Not sure if Fairytale Pumpkin is visible on the right or not in this shot.
Aloe Water & Cucumber is definitely not a good general scent for company. A lot of people, like me, get sick at cucumber scents. I've had to leave a friend's home, physically gagging because she melted Aloe Water and Cucumber while we were there. I'm with you. I am a complete homebody. I rather a Staycation than to travel. Snow and rain scents are my favorites! It must be so weird to have light at 11 at night or dark at 10 am.
Hello from Canada 🇨🇦 Ontario 🍁 Love your videos. I’m a homebody as well. I do work full time but I like to be home. I must say Scentsy does a lovely pumpkin warmer they all seem to be very nice. I like the smell of Ivory dish soap with just a capful of bleach seems very weird but I really like it. My grandmother always used Ivory dish soap and she would add a splash of bleach to keep the dishcloth fresh. I also enjoy a tobacco or pipe tobacco smoke not cigarette smoke. I also love my pj’s, slippers but I can’t wear nightgowns I just don’t like the feel of my legs touching. Yes cozy warm and smelling good. I bring out my pumpkin warmers and other Halloween decor some stuff stays out that is just fall decor. Christmas stuff I do bring out in December but not tons. As soon as Christmas is over it gets put away.
"If I had 24 hours to add whatever bars to my club" oh my! Here we go! Jade & Jasmine, White Tea & Cactus, Persian Lime & Sandalwood, Butter Pecan, Almond Croissant, Apple Butter Frosting, Thunderstorm, Now & Zen, Rainbows & Butterflies, Plumeria Peach, Satin Sheets, Sugar Cookie, Sea Salt & Avocado, Brownie Batter, Candied Cranberry Pecan, Buckleberry, Peppermint Dreams, Cranberry Garland, Bright Cider Life, Toasted Acorn & Oak, Caramel Pear Crisp, Central Park Pralines, Vanilla Bourbon, Apple & Oats, I'm Snow Over It, Lavender Cotton, Christmas Cactus, Ocean, Cozy Chai, Love & Happiness, Pumpkin Marshmallow, Sugar & Spice, Woodland Suede..... I could seriously go on and on...LOL
I guessed bright cider life for your fall favourite and Christmas cottage for winter but I didn’t get the other two. I do know you love my wish because that’s why I tried it
Thank you Robyn for answering my question about the mini warmer. 😊. You’re the best! I’ve already started decorating for fall even thought I’m in Georgia now but I don’t care I’m a native Canadian at ❤. (Former Montrealer) 🍁 🇨🇦
Solidarity! 😂 I use the air fryer all the time too. Thanks for answering my question! I tried your blend suggestions for Forever Fall/ White Pumpkin & Driftwood and Midnight Mahogany/Palo Santo & Cinnamon this week and they were both great. I generally don’t mix on my own, but I enjoy getting suggestions to try. Especially when I have the bars on hand. 😊 My family thinks Fall Yoga Pants by the Fire is a ridiculous name for a scent but it does smell great! This was a great video! ETA: try gently microwaving the loaves before cutting next time. Hard to do while filming a video though.
LOL Fall Yoga Pants by the Fire is a handful of a name but it’s SUCH a good scent!!! Good idea on microwaving the loaves! Would probably have to take them out of the foil tins first!
Fantastic video!! I really enjoyed learning more about you. I live in Onatrio Canada near Lake Huron. I gre up in Niagara Falls Ontario. I've traveled a fair bit in the U.S and I even lived there for 18years in Louisiana!!! Loved it there!! If u want some great food you must go there!!!! So good and the culture is unlike any place!! Texas has good barbque, but Louisiana has my heart.
I just cannot fathom not having air conditioning! I live in Mississippi and we currently have a cool front making it only 89 degrees Fahrenheit rather than 110 like it was last week! We are melting right along with our wax down here! 😅 I guess you have harsh winters though, and ours are very mild. So that’s the trade off. Great video! 🤗
Nice getting to know you Robyn! A lady in my town just moved here from the Yukon and in the winter they only get four hours of daylight/day crazy. My family went to Vancouver island and penticton when I was 10
Hi! As a fellow Canadian, who has already had the experience of ordering from Teddy Bee's (who don't ship to Canada), I was wondering if you could tell me about the process of ordering from her pre-order and using a parcel forwarding company, as well as the cost of shipping etc? I am trying to get an idea of how that works, and what shipping costs to expect. Thank you for any info you can share with me!
The shipping and duties is insane. Not just TBs, for all cross border shipping. First you pay $14USD approx to ship from TBs to the parcel forwarding company. Then to ship it to yourself in Canada is $80-$160 depending on order size. And then you get duties of another $80-$150. It is a very very significant expense! I believe the shipping is sometimes less if you live closer to the US border or live in Toronto or Vancouver - but if you’re in a rural area like me it’s hefty!
@RobynH oh my god! I really want to try her wax, but I don't know if I could justify the cost of that whole shipping process. On top of the cost of the original order of wax 😱 I may convince myself to try it once, just to decide if her wax is worth it...but yikes! Thank you for sharing details about it with me 🙂
🌾🍁🎃 Congratulations, Robyn, on achieving the next level! 🍁Our scents for October are: ✨️ Apple Spice Season ✨️ Berry Good Pumpkin ✨️ Breakfast in Bed ✨️ Coco: Familia Comes First ✨️ Ghostly Greetings ✨️ Gimme Candy ✨️ Maple Rum Cake ✨️ Midnight Masquerade (in my bedroom 💜) ✨️ Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl ✨️ Scary Good ✨️ Under the Oak Tree (in my Dads room) ✨️ Warm Pumpkin Drizzle ✨️ White Pumpkin Driftwood
I order enough to make the shipping and duties worth it 🤣 So if I’m ordering US vendor it’s always a good size order, because it’s more economical to do a few large orders than a bunch of tiny orders with shipping and duties being so high.
I am the same as you! Prefer to stay home surrounded by my wax and warmers! Home is where it’s at! 🏠
Absolutely agree! Love being home as much as possible!
Ack!
I’m with you on preferring not to travel. I like being in my own home with my cats and all the things I enjoy.
Exactly!!! My house has everything I love in it, I prefer to be there lol!
That sounds like a great experience!
We’re from Kansas City! 😊
Yay Teddys!! 🥳🙌🏻🥰 awww what I wouldn’t give to buy a bunch of Teddys and just sit and chop and chat with you in person! 😍🥰❤️😊
Meeee too my friend!!🥰
I love to cross-stitch!
In fact, much of the time if I’m watching your videos, I’m cross-stitching. (Unless I’m doing chores. 😉😉)
Thanks for answering my question about wax stash!
Nightgowns reign supreme, 100%!
29:05 i had just said : oh no, don’t throw away the lid!
Thanks for the shout out. ❤ I’m so glad you are enjoying the spreadsheet . My collection would be out of control without it.
Your spreadsheet is GENIUS!!! 💜

I love the Nissan Rogue! Too short for Trin, but they’re very nice!
Omg so many things I’ve learned I need from this chat! In no particular order:
1) that chopper
2) cozy cotton long nightgown- my version will be long sleeves- is yours?
3) plastic bags for my TB’s - you told me - I didn’t listen.
4) timers and glowy candles
5) fall/winter hybrid bedding rather than separate fall and winter - GENIUS
I like to keep the same decor for all year round aside from fall and holidays.
Taking pictures of your decor set ups is BRILLIANT!!! Takes the guess work out of the next year and you can just tweak as you like!
So. Comfy. Nightgowns are underrated lol!!!
So cool!
Ooooo yes leather and tobacco make sense but REALLY smoothed out with the leaves and vanilla. That parchment note is probably dry but also smooth too.
I echo everything Stacy just said. ❤. Such a fun video.
That’s absolutely the way to do it - slowly over time. That way you have pieces that remind you of all different years!!!
Thank you Robyn! Enjoyed this video. Your warmers going in the background is just so pretty.
I love the cozy glow of the warmers! 🥰
Splits In Layers…. That’s the exact reason why I don’t like layered scents. Happens every darn time!! Drives my ocd bonkers lol 😂
Yep, drives me nuts 😅
Omg you make me giggle!! 😂😂😂 drills, nightgowns!! 😂😂😂❤
This was so fun! Thanks for the chat, loved hearing your thoughts!

Oh man, it would be rough if you didn’t have any of the necessary equipment to deal with snow/ice!
Winter tires especially!
This was so fun! Thank you, Robyn.
That was fun, Robyn!!! Really enjoyed listening to all of your answers

Oh I am so excited for this longer chop & chat!!!! Love your channel🎉
Great Chop and Chat. Thanks for answering all the questions.
Winter 8 months per year?! I'd die! I'm in the Southeast US and it's warm about 9 months out of the year.
Lol, yes! Snow is common September to May, although October to April are usually when it sticks and builds up.

Hi Robyn❤
Thank you for answering my questions. I really enjoyed your Chop & Chat!! I love your fall decorations 🎃🧡🧡🧡
A Disney cruise is a great family trip and can be tropical! We went on our first Disney cruise to the Bahamas this summer, and my 6-yr-old loved it!
My daughter wants to go on a Disney cruise so much! One of these days!

I really like the orientation. It is nice to see your warmers in the back. Which ones are in the right and left corner??
She recently did a home tour showing the warmers ❤
The left has Tiger Eye Pumpkin and Forever Fall, the right has Enchanted Pumpkin and Starry Pumpkin. Not sure if Fairytale Pumpkin is visible on the right or not in this shot.

Same, work full time but prefer to be at home over most anywhere else!
Home is definitely my happy place too. I’ve been to BC once, when I was 10 my family visited Vancouver island and Penticton.
Penticton is a cute little city!!! Been there quite a few times too!
I live in Oregon. It is very much like Vancouver BC or Victoria.
Love Vancouver! So different in every way from my neck of the woods, but the PNW is a special area!
I love chop and chats :)
Great video!
"If I had 24 hours to add whatever bars to my club" oh my! Here we go! Jade & Jasmine, White Tea & Cactus, Persian Lime & Sandalwood, Butter Pecan, Almond Croissant, Apple Butter Frosting, Thunderstorm, Now & Zen, Rainbows & Butterflies, Plumeria Peach, Satin Sheets, Sugar Cookie, Sea Salt & Avocado, Brownie Batter, Candied Cranberry Pecan, Buckleberry, Peppermint Dreams, Cranberry Garland, Bright Cider Life, Toasted Acorn & Oak, Caramel Pear Crisp, Central Park Pralines, Vanilla Bourbon, Apple & Oats, I'm Snow Over It, Lavender Cotton, Christmas Cactus, Ocean, Cozy Chai, Love & Happiness, Pumpkin Marshmallow, Sugar & Spice, Woodland Suede..... I could seriously go on and on...LOL
Ooooo Woodland Suede, good call!!! That would go in my Club for sure if I could! And Snowkissed Cranberry!
I guessed bright cider life for your fall favourite and Christmas cottage for winter but I didn’t get the other two. I do know you love my wish because that’s why I tried it
We have a Volvo XC90 and we love it.
King cake aged so beautifully!! I melted it 2 days ago!! So glad its clubbed. I think ot will come back next Mardi Gras!! ❤
I hope so!!!
Thank you Robyn for answering my question about the mini warmer. 😊. You’re the best! I’ve already started decorating for fall even thought I’m in Georgia now but I don’t care I’m a native Canadian at ❤. (Former Montrealer) 🍁 🇨🇦
I strongly believe in decorating whenever your heart desires!🧡
@@RobynH Absolutely! Certainly no harm in that.
Yay🎉 I love a chop & Chat!
@@RobynH Yes, I would definitely remove them from the loaf pans! That might be too much excitement, sparks flying! 🤣
I wish the uk had good vendor waxes like teddy bees we just dont have the good scent oils here for waxes
I heard that noise!! I thought it was outside my house haha
I am from Ontario too! My friend grew up in Niagara Falls and my boyfriend and I do a yearly trip to white oaks spa
Wow! Louisiana does seem like a pretty cool place too, I’d like to visit there someday!
I use to live in Louisiana and I would die without AC. Lol
We get occasional days of 100 degrees but only a few per year - even the gyms here don’t all have AC! Yes, we have cold winters - totally a trade off!
Nice getting to know you Robyn! A lady in my town just moved here from the Yukon and in the winter they only get four hours of daylight/day crazy. My family went to Vancouver island and penticton when I was 10
I’m loving trifecta.
I haven’t warmed it yet but it’s nice!

When you were picking your 6 I thought you would have picked pacific sandalwood
It made my top 3 bars! I love that one so much.
@@RobynH I really hope to see that one come back again
53:25 I’d love to meet you at SFR, we can hang out and be introvert together 🤭💜
If you see me come say hi! 💜
Can you link the Scentsy spreadsheet in a video?
I don’t have a link handy but if you go to Martha’s Fragrance Corner and search her channel for “spreadsheet” it should pop up!
How do you order from Teddy Bees?
Join her Facebook group and watch for preorder dates! Next one is early September!
When you order vendor wax-;do you have a limit or just buy to your heart's content
I order enough to make the shipping and duties worth it 🤣
So if I’m ordering US vendor it’s always a good size order, because it’s more economical to do a few large orders than a bunch of tiny orders with shipping and duties being so high.
Are those Scentsy waxs?
Nope, Teddy Bees!
