Tataouine is a must-visit site for geologists, anthropologists, archaeologists and palaeontologists. But let's not forget the Star Wars fans! I am now editing together a series of videos on the amazing Star Wars filming sites in the area. Stay tuned for more details!

    Scafidi squad ! 😁
Nice video as always! I'm seeing stuff I've never seen. The last place looks heaven-like with all the greenery and the birds singing.

Thanks! It was a beautiful part of the country. But I think some more work needs to be done to protect the cave paintings from the elements, so that they are preserved for future generations.

@@ScafidiTravels yeah agreed. From what I've gathered from your videos, the lack of institutions' will to protect those sites seems to be a persistent problem.

    Nice video mate.
This cave painting is the work of my ancestors THE IMAZIGHEN ♓️
The native people of North Africa.
    My family comes from Tataouine.
I like the Dinosaurs foot print.
    Very cool.
Keep up the good work mate.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video! The cave paintings are amazing. But I think some work needs to be done to protect them better from the elements, as they seem to be eroding away over time. Likewise, the dinosaur footprints could be covered in some way, and perhaps have an information sign!

      I totally agree with you.
Since 2011 no money has been invested.
Lots of work to be done.
