Gorgeous Gorgeous babies. I live here in SA TX, an addicted Plantaholic on Succulents and Cacti. My passion on Cacti is growing wild I can’t stop.😊💓💓💓😊. I may not be able to distinguish each species or variety but I love them all to include Coryphantha💓💓💓
Please make a video of how to take care of a cactus in general from the roots, watering(especially how much) ,humidity, sunlight, how to repot carefully. Love your videos
They look amazing. 💚 I really want to start collecting Coryphantha especially the Coryphantha elephantidens cv. Titan and Coryphantha elephantidens inermis. Hopefully, I can buy some soon.
I have my eye on an inermis one too. I have a Coryphantha cv tanshi that I should have included in the video as an example of being on the stuggle bus. It’s doing better now, but it took a long time to root, and therefore, is not the prettiest of the bunch. Thanks for watching!
I've been trying to grow Coryphantha from seed for the past year... not having much luck, they seem to be more finicky than Mammillaria... I was hoping since they were endemic to the south they would grow easy like Mammillaria...
How big is their root system? Do you water them from above or do you bottom water them. I ask cause you have them top dressed in stone so I was curious to your watering routine.
They can have a dense taproot that produce several fibrous branches. That root system can be longer than the plant is tall. I try to bottom water my cactus because, as you pointed out, they are top dressed with stones and if I top water them, dirt will flow to the top and make it look messy. Thank you for your great questions and for watching!
Coryphantha is very hardy and can tolrate heat, dry cool climinate, draught ,slow and steady growers ,they produce aboudennt flowers and seed pods in harsh climinates, they demand very little care and fertilizers, excellant to keep them and respect them.

Coryphantha are symbiotic with ants and some species grow extra floral nectararies to attract ants
