My question is: if we start from the beginning where you have someone wanting to share some files, and they can't share their files on a server because their provider will take them offline, so they seek other peers that are online, now that they have found these peers that are online, how are they sharing the file with one another? Also, how do they allow someone like me to join and extract file information? Are they placing the file in an app or site that anyone can access? How do they hide their site or app? ARe these questions way off or are they legit questions?

I did not understand how peers find each other
so eventually you still need some sort of server connection to look up where to find the connection of your peer. then you go from there.
