Bike looks superb! Great job on the pannier rack mods… those tyres are absolutely smashing too (got them on my Tiger 1200 and they are brilliant!)… really looking forward to the ‘Polish tightwads on Tour’ series 👍🏼👍🏼😜😜
Very good looking bike! 👍 Looking forward to watch videos from your trip. A tips: try Norway on next trip. Lots of fabulous MC roads 😉 Perfect for your bike. Drive safe! Have a nice journey.
Good luck with the trip. I’ve never gone further south than the French Alps on a bike. Definitely want to get into Italy sometime -when it’s not peak summer heat though! I’m not mechanically handy like you so my RT 1250 LE is the perfect tourer for me - it comes with everything you need - I have panniers and a top box too. Done 10,000 miles in Europe Scotland and Ireland so far. I know it looks too dull a bike for you but at least it’s not one of the GS multitude! And the big electric screen is brilliant when you sometimes have to hit the higher motorway speeds to get places.
Safe travels Uncle. I look forward to seeing the videos. Always wanted to do Italy further south of the Alps 👍 I admrire your ability to build your own pannier racks aswell. Very jealous!
Beers... but of course ;) I just won't add it to the calculations ;) Jokes aside - I will try to limit pubs though in favour of buying bottles in supermarkets ;)
Very impressive you fabricated your own pannier rack. Is there a rev counter on the dials? Lastly I liked the distorted version of Wipeout originally by the Surfaris.
That's going to be an amazing trip. How are you going to keep the footage? Lots of memory cards or hard rive to carry around? The new seat is a blessing, it looks good.
Hopefully I will manage with my current number of SD cards. I limit continuous recording though - I try only to record like a 30s of interesting areas. And yes, I really hope for that seat to do it's job ;)
did you manage to wire up the lights? were did you find the live switch wire to connect to without cut into the main wiring lume I am to fit similar lights but can not locate a live switch
Bars are from Aliexpress, £80 ish but I guess they are more or less the same as other branded crashbars on the market. Not that well made though as the fittings are a bit fiddly. The seat is made by local upholsterer
On the British countryside you always find some nice spots to take a good photo😉. BMW looks awesome. Have a great trip!

We will try to do our best to disappoint you 😂🍺
Beauty of a bike pal. Just pure quality
Thanks mate

I know, Norway is on my list for sure, but as I live in a rainy country with not much of a sunshine, I always tend to go south instead ;)
It's good that you've changed a wooden plank for the proper seat.
The seat looks much better than standard, sounds like an exciting trip.
the standard should be called a skateboard not a seat ;)
Bike looks sweet. A lot nicer than original. What is the seat brand you upgraded to? Blaze on.
A nice bike and job

I got your point but motorways are boring no matter what ;)

Nice bike , great tyres and your mods are really good. How do you like this bike and what model is it I really like it!
It is BMW Urban GS 2017. I really like it to be honest
Wow almost like bmw gs1200 adventure ;)
except it still looks like a motorcycle ;)

No rev counter, you need two dial version or connect LCD display
Id be interested in a video on how you made the rack
I only filmed in the middle of the process of making it. The video is in the channel somewhere

I bought it with those lights, so I don't know where it's connected, sorry
👍
What seat is that? Looks much better
Made by my friend in Coventry
Do y u have the dimensions for the side pannier racks and how you added the Givi Monokey parts to the rack?
First I bought the panniers and measured it, then I bought Givi monokey spare parts and made the rack with the right dimensions.
Where did you get the panniersysten?
