Alip is very humble man, he refuse to collab with other famous local artists, and refused to be featured in local tv stations, he's just one of a kind.. he even refused expensive guitar as a gift.. he said he make youtube channel solely to inspire others and entertain his viewers..

his fingerstyle's uniq bcs he always trying to make melody, rhytm, bass line, n percussion at the same time guitar, n some detail accent on harmonic + bending/slide
looks so easy, but it hard to do bcs it's need precision n brain management to makes all parts to become one at the single guitar

I cant recommend any particular cover of his, in my humble opinion its all great and unique, but if you want to blown away, try one of these: bohemian rhapsody, black or white of MJ, system of the dawn, 5 song of his original, if you want to know little bit of indonesian taste try lingsirwengi, bengawan solo, yank. Ahhh.. too many great cover from him

Those technik alredy exist long time ago, used by many unorthodok guitar player in Indonesia, mostly talented pengamen we call it, usually can use that. Alif combine it all and put soul on the song makes it extra ordinary good.

You've missed his signature guitar playing at 02:00 and 02:52 known as the Alip's Pull or Bending. Most experienced guitarists reacting to Alip's videos, especially Numb cover, admit that they've never anyone doing that.
And the little finger picking you mentioned that created ringing or ding sound is called harmonic. And Alip is a master harmonicker as Citizen Shane called him.
