Sitting here now watching this video on my tv. The thing you said about not everyone having a Dollar Tree struck a chord with me. That is what I lije, about your videos. You do things that everyone can do. I don't have a Dollar Tree in my little town. Closest is an hour drive. I'm disabled now since Covid a year ago and came walk enough to go in store myself. My husband bless him does try to go in and find things for me in the town he works in so I get a few things along. My children do to if they are in a town that has one. I can take what they find me and things I have around the house and make things. I really enjoy the challenge especially if it is a trash to treasure. You are my kind of crafter. 💓

I am so glad that you copy text and pictures the "old fashioned" way (using carbon paper, etc.). These days it seems everyone has to have a Cricut (quite expensive, and, to me, not cost effective unless you make things in bulk). There is even a Cricut machine costing about $100+ for adhering images to blank coffee mugs. How many mugs, may I ask, does a person need? Anyway, just my rant, but again, thank you for showing a truly handmade way to do things!

I have yet to see any projects that couldn’t be made without a Cricut. Most of the channels I watch give viewers w/o a cutting machine other options so they too can create the same projects. A lot of creators with Cricut or Silhouette Cutting Machines don’t have the other expensive Cricut products like the mug press, heat press or mini heat press and instead use an everyday iron. If none of the old schools transfer methods work for anyone there is stickers, stencils, water slide paper, Saran Wrap transfer method and I’m sure many others. There are so many good instructional videos here on RUclips. I think a project is only limited by your imagination. I would hate to hear any creator feel like they couldn’t create something just because they don’t have a machine either they can’t afford or feel like isn’t a good financial decision for them.

I looked on Home Depot website and I can't find anything, Thank you for the videos. I love watching and listening to your calm voice.

When people ask them to mix sample paint size colors and don't like it, they leave them. Home Depot will sell those for 50 cents. They call it oops paint, or ask them to show the discount boo boo or oops paint area. Most stores have one. Hope that helps.

Loved the barn - I'm thinking it might be fun to add a teeny tiny hook to hold the wreath and then change it out to make it really seasonal for each season! How fun to try to come up with near tiny wreaths for each one - My first thought was tiny yellow beads for a lemon wreath for late spring summer - hearts for Valentine's fall leaves - I guess the little girl who used to live to make doll house decor is coming out in me! 😊

Holly, you make the most beautiful projects. The beauty you create out of essentially nothing is phenomenal. I adore you and your channel. 👏🌟🏆👊💥❤ I have never painted the back of the calendar pages. I used this same image last year. I applied it to the back of a square DT sign with Mod Podge. I never had an issue with the numbers and letters showing through. I have heard that it is best to place them on a dark background. I would think that applying it onto a dark background would also darken the image after Mod Podge was applied?
I would LOVE to know how you add the Christmas lights to your bathroom? Christmas lights are one of my favorite things about Christmas decor. I'm curious as to how you decorate with them.

When I was scrolling I looked at how long the video was before I noticed who it was.. as soon as I saw it was you , and when I saw your name I said, "oh but she is worth it". I really like how you do nice finishing touches that just add to the detail of the project, and you do that very well, and I think you're you're You're also very frugal, and thats the beautiful part of it all, or for me anyway, and besides making some cool stuff, I really like using all different materials like you do. You just very good at ways to use all kinds of different things in your projects, that are out in nature, so basically free, as long as you have access to it anyway. You are the only crafter who does that type of thing, you are pretty amazing at all different types of home decor. I Just thought I'd tell you that. I really like your style, and how resourceful you are.. You have that whole Market cornered! I Appreciate all your hard work. Im sure a lot of other people do as well. Keep em coming please!!

Love your pieces! FYI- soaking the DT bells in white vinegar for a few days gives them a yummy, rusty look.

Primer has to be painted over it is chemically different than spray paint. I own a handyman business with my husband, and trial and error over the years the rep from Behrs paint informed me of that fact. Just a little FYI hope it helps

Love your crafts and your calm voice. The floral bow is used with non-fraying polypropylene stiff ribbon, with wired fabric ribbon we pinch and twist to build bow then use a chenille stem to tighten down center so that we don't have fraying or cut the wires that make the ribbon hold shape, you can wind the bow the same if you want, just tighten down center to add tension so you can pull and twist using the wire.

Your beautiful cat looks exactly like my beautiful cat from long ago. I would say that his fur could stay floating in the air forever. I loved him so much. 😍😻

My last cat was a tuxedo - mostly black, though. He was always so "helpful" - NOT! Loved the unique deep orange colour of Thomas.
Just found you late this afternoon and have now subscribed. We have Dollar Trees here in Canada. They don't sell frozen foods and overall I don't think they are as big as yours. We have another dollar store called Dollarama which is bigger and has more of a selection than Dollar Tree.

I’m so glad I found your crafts on you tube. I saw the sticks you used for the tree ornaments so I’m going to go get them tomorrow. I found the jute twine, paint brushes and the beautiful lace ribbon at Dollar Tree yesterday, oh and the cute little stick on snowflakes and trees. I will be making these today. When I give my cookie gifts this year there will be one of your beautifully created tree ornaments attached to their cookie tin. The snowman, the eyes, the smile and the nose just nailed it on cuteness.

Normally .. I don’t watch videos this long… I mean 3 hours??? However.. I would say you are my by far my favorite RUclips so I though why not? By the last 15 mins I kept saying ‘ ok one more ..show me one more’! I will now have to watch it again because I loved every one of those crafts and I honestly can’t remember what the first 3 were. ( which is the main reason I don’t like these long videos to start with) but this one I could watch again no problem!! Thank you so much for sharing!! You are awesome! 😊😊
