TBH when they first debuted I wasn't sure what to make of them in terms of song, concept, etc. I'm glad I stuck with it, as they turned a corner with the second album and now they are one of the better gg's in kpop. Tops!
I think since Lia is fluent she helps them practice at the dorm, where as in twice nobody is fluent so they don’t have a 24/7 helper. I think if they can get Mina Dahyun and Chaeyoung a really good tutor then they can become fluent. And I don’t think nayeon or jihyo take English learning seriously.
When Twice was being mad their focus was not to break into the western market whereas most 4th Gen groups are designed so they can do well in the Western world, like ITZY.
