I love that they genuinely try, regardless of whether they know they'll speak perfectly or not, to actually speak it from their own thoughts and hearts. I feel like a lot of English interviews done by idols who are usually still learning or don't understand much at all are awkward because they're so scared, which is understandable, but sometimes they come out with really generic answers which are often provided by the company to have ready for them. It seems like the girls are really trying to answer to the best of their abilities and from their own individuality, they really are a role model for confidence and I love seeing it. Ryujin, though less fluent than Lia, actually really surprised me because she really articulated her thoughts and even the way she chose to phrase her answers and her words display her proficiency in English.
English speaking ranking 1. Lia ( we all knew she's fluent , no need to explain) 2. Ryujin ( she can talk straight English and her pronunciation is good plus she's confident with the way she talks) 3. Chaeryeong ( her pronunciation is good and can do basic english) 4. Confidence is everything. If you don’t converse, even with broken English, then you wouldn’t improve. Being shy will dampen your ability. Just like Yeji, she’s being shy and not confident thus why her English is the worst out of them all. I still stand corrected to my point that Yuna is a better English user than Chaeryeong just because she knows how to converse even in a broken English and sometimes wrong pronunciation. We GET what she wanted to say, she didn’t make us guess what she’s trying to say like how Chaeryeong was. Even Ryujin has bad grammar but she’s still a GOOD English user. Pronunciation. Is. Not. Everything. Also, this is coming from a non native English speaker so I understand the struggle and I definitely CAN understand Yuna. Chaeryeong: so adorable, I’m dying.
Yuna’s English: simply uwu
Ryujin’s English: quite fluent, like almost there.
Yeji’s English: quite fluent, but the way she tries to answer questions right is so cute omg-
This is how you learn a new language quickly by diving into it.
Charyeong: *laughs*
Always Charyeong: I'm sorry...
Interviewer: it's ok to laugh!
My heart: *melted*
Lia is so amazing, even though we already know she’s fluent. She did great, especially with that answer in reference to the lyric 💕💕
The way Yuna speaks English reminds me of how hongjoong speaks English and it is the cutest thing in this world
I like this interview because on stage they are so fierce, so it is nice to see them talk about themselves and open up a bit. I like them even more now.
RYUJIN ILY YOUR ENGLISH IS PERFECT
For some reason I find Lia’s voice extremely hot

Can we appreciate the interviewer as well as he was really supportive and sweet as well throughout the interview.
Chaeryoung’s pronunciation is honestly so good. She would become a great English speaker one day ☺️
ryujin stans are shaking
Yuna’s voice is so cute!!! Also her korean accent isn’t strong so I can see her getting better in English!!
Me too!
Honestly Yuna's english is pretty impressive. She knew how to express herself despite her grammar errors and misinterpreted pronunciation.
watching this again hits different after actually stanning itzy. i saw this in my recommendations before, so i watched it and it made me kinda interested in them. idk why i decided to watch this again, but i'm glad i did cos before, they were strangers to me, and now i get to appreciate every moment of this interview. you could say this served as my "guide to itzy" so thank you lmao 💕💕
ryujin is my queen 😭
Yuna’s speaking English sounds like she’s chinese. So cuteeee
True!!
i feel like chaeryeong is really good but shes just too shy shes so pure omg
i remember watching this when it came out, i felt so much goosebumps as if i were in their shoes. especially when yuna made that cute mistake. i cannot imagine how difficult it must have been for Yuna as she had to memorize her answer and didn't even know what the interviewer was asking.
I LOVE Yuna and Chaeryoung 🥺 they’re so cute wtf
omg lia’s voice is so nice i wish jyp made her sing in a lower pitch cause i’m in love with her deep voice
we’re ready for ryujin’s mixtape yas
They sound amazing! As an English speaker sometimes we forget we have an extremely tough language. We stan queens who know more than one language. ❤
Some of them are lil bit having trouble on the pronunciation but they can really speak and understand! Wow! I'm literally amazed because it's very rare that a whole group can speak English. STAN THIS QUEENS!♥️
Yeji: flustered, and trying to pronounce it as well as she can
Lia: *is fluent*
Ryujin: acts professional (first of all, in my case...)
Chaeryeong: stumbling, but somehow knows more adjectives than anyone else
Yuna: confident stumbling... (is that even possible?)
Lia & Ryujin : Rose & Jennie
Yeji & Chaeryeong : Lisa
Yuna : Jisoo
This is itzy girl
@@Srzslh she is free to comment like she want, dont be toxic
@@thereallemon7050 I'm sorry I think I was already pissed off when I commented on this.
Yuna's english is so much better than jisoo
Lisa's English is better than yeji
Are you kidding me?
And yuna is better than yeji and jisoo
I mean yeji and jisoo in the same position
