Same. Wouldn’t spend a dime on hair care. You can but the exact same products at hair care stores for cheaper. I hate how she picked out all her stuff it would so annoy me. Like I really like too faced better then sex mascara and there eye shadow palletes are so pretty! But she didn’t even go near the too faced isle. She quotes that these are the best products ever but it’s her opinion. I just feel bad for her friend lol

In norway we don't have sephora or cvs or walgreens or anything like that. The only drugstore brands availeble here are nyx, maybelline, loreal and maxfactor. And the high end brands are chanel, anastasia, mac, clarins and smashbox..

It's not that bad in Norway at all, now u have boots there I think when it comes to drugstores. You have sleek and many more drugstore brands than you mentioned, I did not look into that too much though when I was there. Anastasia is a great brand to have from high end, we have sephora in Poland but it doesn't carry ABH. The only downside is that the prices are a bit higher.
So, I'm confused... the blonde British girl got all this makeup for free right? It sounded like the R29 beauty editor was telling her what to get, but then she started swatching all the makeup that was for the blonde British girl. is that what happened or did i misinterpret their roles
I brought Alix along shopping with me (she's never been to a sephora before!) so I put together a list of all the stuff I love them there and got them for her in her shades! I just swatched them to show you guys the textures and colors! Sorry if that was confusing!

wildbap28 Greetings from Ireland! Which Tarte palette is it? I'd love to get one that has great orange and red tones for fall/winter as I've heard the urban decay naked heat isn't great. I indulged in Tarte's custom sale last week and got €220 worth of items to my door for €70. Absolutely in love with the Amazonian clay airbrush 12-hour foundation. It's a powder and it doesn't make me shiny and it stays on for 7 hours exactly the same way I put it on. Without primer!! Same with the Amazonian clay blush! Also Loving my Inglot berry palette at the moment.

When I used to work at Sephora, I had repeat customers who would easily spend over $1000 like it was nothing. I think the highest I ever rung up was around $1800.

The Boscia exfoliating gel is incredible. I would get that in my haul.
The Color IQ did not work for me, it was actually hilarious because it told me to get foundations that were way too dark for me.

I really liked the mascara she recommended, firstly because of the packaging and the interesting curly wand but also the formula is great and melts off easily with water so I don’t have to rub my eyes to try to get off the mascara. BUT I have purchased 2 of these mascaras and each time they just got stuck after a month or two of use. I don’t know if the product has been building up near the enclosing area or I haven’t been turning the wand back in gently enough but was deeply saddened so I never purchased again.

high end makeup is pricey bit in my experience, it's totally worth it in most cases.
Tbh, I wouldn’t spend that much money since I am informed on most products. I would get the ordinary aha bha peeling solution. Krave beauty matcha hemp cleanser. Some spot treatments for those days where I have a nasty zit. And some sunscreen that don’t leave a white cast on my face and body.
Does anyone know how much these skincare things cost or any inexpensive recommendations for dry skin? My skin gets so dry and cracked it hurts and once even pealed and lotion only helps for a small time frame!😭

Brief comment on things I've tried: don't spend money on the Anastasia brow pencil - just get the NYX one. Same shape, same tip, works just as well. Also - Lancome mascara's not that great. I know there's a lot of personal preference, but their mascara aren't enough to justify buying over something good from the drugstore.
