I never paid any attention to my eyebrows until I tried Boy Brow in clear. Now I use MAC's False Lashes Mascara, because I don't run through the tube quite as fast and it's a fraction of the price. But I credit Glossier for turning me onto doing literally anything at all with my brows to begin with!

Most people don't think of sunscreen till it's too late, unfortunately. also you never see makeup artists use sunscreen bc many think it "ruins the look" 😩 also it's hard to work with and they're going for a specific look where you can tell they didn't use sunscreen. :/

This looks great on skin with few imperfections but what about textured, acne, scarred skin ?
Serah Yeah I have textured skin with a few blemishes here and there and i love the look of light makeup but this is literally for people who have perfect skin. I wish I could get this look!
Caitlyn Clark yeah I have some light scarring , some angry under the skin pimples and a decent amount of hyper pigmentation. I try to get a facial with a peel and microdermabrasion a few times a year. I find that it helps a bit.
As far as the texture goes glossier products are great because the complexion products dont collect around tiny pimples under skin and the highlight and blush is a cream so theyre not affected by texture. For the acne and scarring I wouldnt say the skin tint is your best bet but the concealer is absolutely amazing its more of a medium coverage but super buildable. Glossier products arent as simplified and minimal as they seem I think theyre products are great but theyre marketing SUCKS. When you see the pictures you see these gorgeous women with nearly perfect skin but the truth is most of their products work for everyone. They want to keep a very polished brand appeal which I disagree but at the end of the day the products are what matter and most of them do truly work for EVERYONE. Especially if youre used to a full coverage very matte and dry makeup routine youll be shocked when you see the dewy "natural" "glossier face" on yourself and how amazing it works for everyone. And trust theres nothing better for textured skin than cream makeup because powder collects in pores and around pimples and accentuates the texture
When my skin was very pitted amd scarred I definitely preferred and still think light makeup was better
Full coverage made me look like a toad and felt even more gross thinking of everything that was locked in with my skin
I'm also very happy now that I was pretty gentle with my skin now it's so much better haha

Katie made a really good point that you can customize the coverage to whatever your needs are (which is why she used the Laura Mercier concealer). I personally really like keeping things dewy in the glossier fashion, but then loading up the coverage on my breakouts and scars! Thanks so much for watching

Mi-Anne Chan I disagree on that because if you aren't someone who suffers from dark circles like you or Katie it's easier. I have dark circles and need the coverage under my eye so with such a large space covered it looks odd. it's one thing to spot conceal for build up it's another to be covering hyperpigmentation or dark circles
ashley G if you take the time to color correct and REALLY spot conceal (ala lisa eldrige) you can do this. mostly people see this look and expect to put in little effort, but that’s not the case. you put the work in to get the result you want to see, or you don’t.
Agreed, Nessa! With the right techniques you can definitely conceal dark circles and acne spots without looking caky! Lisa eldridge is a great person to point out! She's incredible. But either way, I appreciate y'all for watching!

i liked how even tho she was a glossier makeup artist, she didn't constantly push their products and act like "oH MY GAWD U NEED THIS RN ITS THE BEST THING IN THE WORLD!!11!" I.....hate makeup artists that apply skincare like makeup. I saw her doing someone else’s skincare routine and she was putting a vitamin c serum on the high points for a “glow”...that’s not how that works mama
Ana Heim that’s actually exactly how it works, keeping skincare where it’s needed helps a lot with getting a good skin look. Slathering everything all over your face can really make people very oily

Gialina Morten I LOVE the concealer so much. It looks natural but you can build it up. It does crease pretty easily but if you set it right away it should be fine, and if you don’t set it you can always just tap your warm fingers on the product and it’ll make it look nice again through out the day!

make sure u wash ur face at least twice a day, don't skip moisturizer, and just powder wherever gets oily (but not too much powder if u want to still be glowy, i recommend just the t-zone area!!)

Glossier trend is another to tackle face contouring. The general beauty trends aim to mold people’s face shape into model perfection, but what about enhancing individual facial features??? Maybe baby face is in or uneven brows really popular??
Trends are so limiting sometimes for the purpose of making makeup unique to an individual.
The pink hair still catches me off guard, but in the best way, it suits you SO WELL! As did this makeup look, gorgeous, and it was cool to see you adapt it into your own style =)

You can customize coverage! Try pinpoint concealing with a fuller coverage concealer (love this video on it by Lisa Eldrdige). You can also use a fuller coverage foundation instead of tinted moisturizer, but keep it dewy with a nice highlighter and minimal powder!ruclips.net/video/7Pv7B2NirqU/видео.html

no raccoon eyes! it's a nice defining formula! not super volumizing but it does the job! i believe it was formulated for sensitive eyes, too!

Her skin is absolutely glowing but the actual makeup look as a whole (done by the artist) was not flattering. The eyeshadow was dusty and the mascara was poorly applied.
Maryann Nardelli just be happy you have oily skin after your body stop producing oil you will be headed straight to wrinkle town. I have dry skin so oil makes me look 10 times younger then my age. I’ve been almost kicked out bars I would have to shove my ID in there face to show them I’m actually 30.

I like it. From another makeup artists perspective I love this a lot more than you’re basic Instagram look. Looks like this also photograph better as powder just doesn’t look as nice in hd photography.

I have the glossier skin tint, and wowder. Personally I really like the Mac next to nothing foundation it’s like a better version of glossier skin tint for women of “ethnic” skin tones which I am.

You didn't roll the powder brush, as to not to disturb the groundwork. I think you looked greasy by the end of the 12 hours but who wouldn't. I would like to know from Katie, was their airbrushing on those glossier models?
