Not sure what the point by going via Dillinger to save the Markdown code as Markdown code (md). Any plain text editor would work for that, and then just save the file as "md". Other then that great to learn how to make a mind map.
Thank you for your comment, using Dillinger just means that you can save it as an md file whatever your operating system is. Unfortunately for MacBook users the simplicity of just saving as an md file isn’t there :)
The whole benefit of a mind map is that you created it by yourself. This would involve; your whole body and the different ways of learning; such as listening, writing etc It’s a process to make it stick

I've generated a mind map and made some adjustments using XMind tool directly. Now, I want to incorporate additional details through ChatGPT. However, I'm encountering an issue: XMind doesn't permit exporting into Markdown file format. How can I overcome this obstacle?
You can definitely use Microsoft word! However on some operating systems you don't get the option to save as a .md file so having the online version makes sure everyone can use that :)
Interesting approach, but honestly, not going to pay for a subscription of such a peripherial software like a mind map editor. Xmind pricing is off the chart. Would only consider if it were a one time payment. Alternatively, have ChatGPT generate Mermaid mindmap code and paste that into one of the free online Memaid editors. Likely not as pretty, but hey...

Which version of Xmind are you using? If you download the Xmind app you have an option to export the file into markdown format.

My mind app is showing just a blue box

far easier way is to use mapify and also xmind is due to be upgraded with AI which will be even simpler

@AIandTechforEducation they don't. It's a regular name. Think the infamous bank robber John Dillinger.
its not working on my side, please assist
Can you let me know which part isn't working so that I can help?
it did not work for me :( i don't know what's wrong

Very helpful, thanks for pointing that out. The other method did not work on my linux mint machine.
wdym its free?
Xmind isn't free
hmm..... This certainly defeats the purpose of creating mind maps :( Ever wondered why are you creating mind maps?
Came here to same the same thing- the moment i saw the title

If this video attempts shooting Mermaid charts up with steroids just to fake the scale, I’m gonna lose my tokens and get real K mean soon.
I dare you to make less sense.
sorry, wrong planet
