I don't watch that much anime, but Ghost Stories is a show good for anyone that can enjoy offensive humor. Funniest anime I've ever watched.

In all fairness, some parents didn't pretty me deviate or some kids were too young/sheltered to have their own music taste, so we both went through these hour long lessons, dead on the inside, avoiding the wrath of those above us

Why am I expecting this piano to suddenly show up a large row of sharp teeth and chase her around while making disturbing music notes.

When she puts in the ear plugs the piano notes get a reverb that sounds genuinely creepy... and the scene from 1:00 onward fits great with that part of Fur Elise. This scene is of few that the original anime actually did well, imo.

This is actually a really scary concept, it's like an inescapable death. Once the song is finished 4 times then you die.
Its because 4 means 'shi' (死: death) in Japanese kanji. They are trying to spiritual sleep. I both watched in English and Japanese. So glad to repress.

This is what you get for messing with parallel worlds in Super Mario 64
We can make jabs at how funny the dialogue is in the series, but I also genuinely love the fact that they never lost sight of what's important. Which is the fact that the characters were scared.
Satsuki was afraid in this episode, as well as many others. And thus, raising the stakes a little. A part of me believes this series is more than just a funny dub. Who knows? They probably make jokes as a defense mechanism.
I only recently stumbled upon this amazing dub, I have to find somewhere to watch the whole thing.
