Police identify 18-year-old killed in shooting near Withrow High School

- Cincinnati police have identified the 18-year-old who was killed in early morning shooting near Withrow High School, Cincinnati police said. Around 3:45 a.m., police responded to Dana Avenue and Madison Road. Upon arrival, officers found Lamon Wiggins shot. Wiggins was transported to the UC Medical Center, where he died, police said.
That community needs to take a break from all the shootings
Reminder the graduation was held at Fifth Third Arena on the University of Cincinnati. Basically, the teens were trespassing to have a place to celebrate. That is not on the district. The people at fault are the people who decided to start shooting.

Me . i wrote an email to council on why cod seems to not do preventive patrols . And how officers are often hiding goofing off. Slow to respond to calls

That field and parking lot. Are visible from Madison road. Why didn't a cop show up to usher stragglers off the property after the graduation? Why wasn't a couple of detail officers hired by CPS to do so? Why no preventive patrols by CPD. The police in a "janitorial" manner. Sitting and goifiyng off all over town between calls. Sometimes hours on end. @wcpo9. Why doesn't a district 2 car drive over by the field a couple times a night?

Craziness in the burbs happens just not reported as much. Property crimes are abound in Mason, west chester etc. yuppy town small police depts seldom turn in there call/ report logs to fed databases often too. And the burbs yield us most mass shooters.
The FBI and state don't mandate crime reports be turned in. Youd be surprised of the family violence and /SA in the burbs. And drug crimes

Rumor on reddit. Cpd supposedly showed up for a noise complaint after midnight. But didn't make the crowd leave. This is rumor so grain of salt for now. And someone is claiming only 5 cops were on duty in district 2. Rumor as well but disturbingly gross if so. @wcpo9
