Thank you for this video! Was your hair washed when you parted? How were you able to identify the previously processed hair? Is your natural hair type 3? Great results!
Omg you are SO GORGEOUS. I have a question, I have virgin 3C coarse porous hair… how long do you think I should leave the relaxer on to just stretch them without loosing my curl? I’m going to buy the same relaxer you use in your videos.
Awww thank you! So I would suggest you save the hair you loose from brushing your hair, save a few days worth, divide that hair into 3 parts, and test the relaxer on those hair. Do one part for 10 min, the other 15 min, and last 20 min. Also read the packaging for max time. It’s a bit of work but this will get you best results then me telling you a random time. Never test on your real hair if you’re trying for the first time. 🙂
I leave the relaxer on 10 - 13 minutes. I set a timer for 10 minutes but I always go over a few minutes. I don’t use heat, I do low manipulation protective style and deep condition once a week. Hope this helps 🙂
Hi! Thank you. The just for me is a relaxer. I just use it in my hair for 10-13 minutes. Please test on shed hair from combing before trying this if it’s your first time.
Well your hair looks great. I’ve been natural now for 8 years, and I mostly wear twists out/ wash & go & get a silk press about 3 times a year. I do miss relaxers though.
It came out looking so good! 🫶 Do you know your hair type was before you texlaxed? I have 4a-4b hair and I kinda want to your results, but I get it differs from person to person.
I had 4a and a good measure to see how ur hair comes out, try to stretch your hair strands with your fingers but leave a little curl, tex lax is loosening your curls so that’s how it will look .. so more wavy and not like ringlets

Your welcome 🙂
How long do you leave the Texlaxer/relaxer on? Also how what else do you do to help your retain length and stay healthy after putting the texlaxer on.
I leave the relaxer on 10 - 13 minutes. I set a timer for 10 minutes but I always go over a few minutes.

That's how you keep the texture of your hair. Just apply to the roots for about 10 minutes. I have been doing this for years and I'm naturally curly
How long you grow it out before taxlxing?😊
I typically do 3-4 months.
what products do you use after texturizer? natural hair products ? thank you
Honestly I keep it drug store and love a lot of shea moisture shampoos and conditioners.
Hi, you is beautiful. Im thinking about doing this. The just for me is it a texturizer or relaxer? Please respond.
