Oh wow, I honestly feel like she didn’t need this done. She has the perfect amount of eyebrow hairs and arch to just get them threaded or waxed and add a little color to.

If I hadn’t gone through my initial sisterlocks journey I don’t think I would have made it through my ombré brow journey🤣 It was SUCH a process and when my brows lost pigment I felt so traumatized lol but I had to think back to my locs and think “trust the process” TFS!

I am currently in the white cast (greyish in fact) step. I am a lil bit traumatized. I was convinced the job was done poorly and I'm starting to develop social anxiety to be honest. I am at D8 of the process. It's psychologically very intense I think.
I've already done brow tatoo but it never hurts me psychologically like that, the healing process was not intense like that. Thank you very much for this video which allows you to put things into perspective and stay calm and serene before the touch-up.

@@LenasLovelyLocs1 The scabs have all fallen off🙏🏽The healing seems to be over but it will probably be in 10 days. I love my eyebrows! 😍😍😍I keep looking at myself, it's getting ridiculous😋 I still have to do a touch-up in 15 days but they are already so beautiful so I don't know if we'll do it.
But I am obliged to note that the process is loaded with emotions😖, a real emotional lift! Next time i will only do it during holidays.

Hi! I did a dry healing. I only put a THIN layer of ointment on them when they got REALLLY dry and itchy. I appreciate you for stopping by and commenting! My apologies for this late reply😔🥰❤️❤️❤️
I'm undergoing the shading period, is it okay to scrub a little bit, feeling so irritated 😢
NOOOO! Do not scrub your brows! You risk taking off the pigment under the scab and your brows will look splotchy. If it itches, you can put a THIN layer of A&D ointment on it. Hi, i just got mine done, and today is day 4, and i washed my face this morning for the first time, and now i am a little worried if i shouldn't have wet them. Please let me know if i shouldn't have wet them and just let them peel without wetting my face. Please and thank u.
Hey girl, I’m sorry for the late reply. How are your brows holding up? I didn’t wet mine. I patted my forehead with a damp cloth each morning. But I tried not to wet them. My forehead did breakout from not washing though. 😩❤️

They began to darken a few days after that….I think🤔 girrrl, don’t get me to lying 😩🤣 take pics of your brows( you don’t have to do it EVERY day…but a couple times a week) to see your progress and compare. Great video, gives me hope! I'm on day 6 at the moment and it has started scabbing. Two questions if you don't mind. When did you start washing your face fully and did you go thru this all over again after touching up? X
Hi!! I believe I started washing my forehead when all the scabbing came off….so maybe a couple weeks. but during the time when I couldn’t wash my forehead, I used a cotton ball with witch hazel on it to wipe the oils and dirt from my skin. be careful not to prematurely take off your scabbing because you can lift the color off of your brows and they’d be splotchy. when I got my touchup, I waited about a week to fully wash my face. I didn’t scab as much after my touch up. I hope this eases your concerns 🥰 I appreciate you for stopping by my channel and commenting ❤️❤️❤️

Hey girl!! I was sooo afraid that I would mess them up if I touched or mistakenly peeled them off, lol!! You’re healing really fast, that’s good!!! Yep, she used the machine on me, she also numbed me but I don’t know if I needed because it didn’t hurt as much. She didn’t go over all the brows, just retouched the parts that were lighter than the rest and she went over my outline again. Congratulations on your brows! Hey girl! I did forget a couple of times while I was in the shower, lol. I made sure to put the ointment that she gave me over (not too much) my brows so if I DID get them wet, the ointment kinda repelled the water and it just beaded up rather than soaking in…I hope that makes sense and I’m not being too confusing 😩 I appreciate you for stopping and commenting 🥰❤️❤️❤️

Hi Lauren! Congratulations on getting your brows ombré’d!!!! I put VERY little A&D ointment on them. I didn’t want to get them too oily, but I didn’t want them to dry out too much either. The ointment helped with the itching as well. I appreciate you for stopping by and commenting❤️❤️❤️

Hey girl!! Congratulations on getting your brows ombré’d!!! Don’t be scared, you’ll be be fine and they’re are going to look fabulous!! Seeing as though I’m replying late😩…You should be on day 9 or 10. I put a VERY thin layer of ointment on them when they seemed to get really dry and itchy. I didn’t get them wet at all (or at least I tried not to) for like the first 3 weeks or until all the scabbing naturally came off. my forehead did breakout from not properly cleaning it. I don’t work out, but I got them done in the Summer, so I did sweat a bit. I believe as long as you don’t get them DRENCHED in water, you should be ok. The itching was the worst part. This is encouraging. I've been doing the same with applying a small amount of ointment, and trying to keep them as dry as possible (My forehead is annoyed with me, too!lol) . It'll be worth it in the end.

Do you peel/scab when you get the retouch done. Or does that only happen the 1st time around ?
@@meagatronn23 Hi! I scabbed VERRRY little when I got them retouched. When she retouched them, she didn’t go over my whole brow…she just filled in the spots that didn’t darken initially. I hope this helps and I appreciate you for stopping by and commenting 🥰❤️❤️❤️
What would you say your skin type is like? Oily or combo or dry? I'm trying to figure out if I would heal the same way

I live in Central America so I got them done here in Costa Rica but my friend in Florida has a salon and they will fix then there. Ikr abd she had nerves to say come back for the retouch! Uh like that's a hard no lmbooo

Thank you so if they don’t retouch them they can look good or darken and is it included on the initial money
@@kenjerkenjer9576 yes, you don’t NEED a retouch…it’s just good to have in case some spots didn’t darken to your liking or if your scabs prematurely took off your color. I hope this helps and I appreciate you for stopping by❤️❤️❤️

Its a lot of sufferings for me bec I couldn't clean my whole face, esp my forehead that I need to massage evryday to prevent wrinkles

@@nastasia.x I only used a THIN layer of ointment when my brows got super itchy or dry. I tried not to get them wet for like 3 weeks, lol ( or at least until the scabbing cleared). Which is why my forehead broke out.

Hi! when I got then retouched, they didn’t peel as much as the initial application. There was very little peeling the second time🥰❤️

Hey girl!! My biggest thing was not to get them wet while they are healing. You don’t want to prematurely take your scabs off because your color could lift off too. Oh, also when I slept, I tried to be careful not to rub them. They will be really itchy!!! I appreciate you girl!!!🥰❤️❤️❤️
Did you use the ointment everyday
Hey girl! I didn’t use it everyday. I used it the first few days. Then when it started to scab and dry up, I’d put very little ointment one them. I hope this helps🥰❤️❤️❤️
Is this like micro blading?
Hey, girl ☺ somewhat like microblading. With microblading, they make tiny 'hairstrokes' on the brow...microblading makes tiny dots on the brow for an ombre/powdered brow look. I was told the microblading is for people who have very little to no eyebrows (a lot of cancer patients do microblading). Microshading is for that makeup look effect. They darkened after re touching??

Do they flake again after retouch?
Veeery leeetle, Jricka☺️ she didn’t go over my whole brows like the first time. Only the spots that needed to be darkened up and a little more of my outline. I felt fine going out in public without the fear of getting curious looks due to all the peeling like the initial application. How long before you washed your face again
Hey girl, I washed my face on like day 2 or 3. however, I didn’tget my brows wet. I used a wet wash clothe and wiped my face but I made sure to stay away from my brows. When I used facial cleanser, I did the same thing, I just avoided my brows as much as possible. I hope this helps and thank you so much for stopping by and commenting 🥰❤️❤️❤️

@@YOJ-M you’re so welcome! I was so afraid that I was going to pull my scab off prematurely if I REALLY washed my face😩 I DID pat my brows with a damp cloth. My forehead did breakout a little from me not properly washing my face and putting on the ointment wasn’t helping the cause either. Congratulations on your brows, you’re going to love them!! 🥰❤️❤️❤️
