- I am back in Canada from the Philippines and have a little bit I need to share with everyone...
Lately a lot of people have been sending me messages and I just feel it is important I share these thoughts and feelings with you. On a side note... it is very rainy and wet on the west coast where I am from. Grabe Ulan!

Kyle, most celebrities would just ignore some inquisitive fan's request for more personal information, pictures, or videos and get on with their privacy as if they had not received the request; and that would be just fine. Quoting one other commenter, "you don't have to be naked all the way". The fact that you took time to explain why you can not satisfy the particular request, speaks volumes of the person you are, and of how you value your following. Continue to be true, man. Take care.

that's true... at the beginning when we first started our VLOG we were so uncomfortable that we didn't speak much in public so we just got back home, sat in front of the camera, and spoke about our travel..

That's OK Kulas! I'm in social media a lot myself but I don't put my children, family and my day job out there. People who know me say that I have a "Ibang Katauhan" or "Alter Ego". The thing is, there are aspects of ourselves that are just stronger and louder than anything else in our lives. It just has to come out! If, or once properly channeled (like I did), WE are the most happiest people, ever be. And no wonder why you're so happy. Your smile so genuine it's contagious! Because you (we) found it Kulas! And you (we) are made complete by it than nothing else could! You're Canadian but there's just something in you that's making you glance back to that place in Asia, to where you are now. With Filipinos! And we are happy that you found it in the Philippines. What matters is that we give respect (in this case, privacy for people who are private) so we in return be respected. Acceptance comes after. Kulas, Like you give warm smiles, smiles are given to you back a zillion times. Respect and be respected. Smile and the world smiles back at you. And Those Who Truly Matter, Didn't Mind. Those Who Do Mind, Don't Matter. So c'mon Get Happy!

Great vlog bai!Just a suggestion agaw,if you watch Finn Snow's video when he went home to Iceland you can see he did not show much about his family but he did show some great videos around Iceland and it was fantastic!Maybe if possible in the future you can show us some videos around your neighborhood or where you go for adventure or what is there to see in your area.Again this is a suggestion and you don't have to do it.Have a safe travel coming back to CDO and God bless you and your family.

You've been with many Filipinos, Kulas, so I'm sure you know how casual we can be even to people we don't know much about. I'm sure some of those requests asking you more personal stuff were harmless. It was just like a Filipino neighbor asking you casually, "Where have you been? How's your family?" as if he actually truly cares or as if he truly knows you on a personal level. For some Filipinos, it's their way to greet someone. However, to ask you to choose your wardrobe or force you to upload videos in Canada now, no matter how innocent, is still tasteless. We all have those in our countries. So Kulas, thank you for politely explaining things even if you didn't have to. Believe me, most of the popular celebrities here in the Philippines just ignore comments or suggestions like those from netizens.
Filipinos can be really fanatics and fanboying or fangirling can be really, really over the top. Filipino fanatics can be overboard. You can ask local Filipino celebrities who have social media and they will probably tell you how they deal with this stuff every single day of their lives.
You are loved here, Kulas. Thanks for explaining even if you didn't really have to. You don't owe us anything. If a Filipino is naturally hospitable, then you don't have to really prove you are so into us every second of your life. Enjoy Canada. :)

I live and have my family here in Italy for 32 years now; but I see to it that I visit the Philippines every two or three years; and every homecoming is rejuvenating and much much surprises how my place in Bataan evolves.
