Hello Cesar I just bought this same guitar (rs502 in shop black) The action is too high - strings are too far above the strings and I can hear that notes are pulled slightly out of tune when I fret a string / chord I may need to cut deeper slots in the nut, but how do I move the bridge lower? Is it as simple as turning the two large screws (that serve as bridge posts) to the right? Sorry for the beginner question, but I am new at doing this sort of maintenance myself Thank you
Hi! I have not played extensively any of them, just for a couple of sessions here in the studio at Brickell. All of them are really good in my opinion. Yamaha makes great guitars in general!

Hi Cesar. I have learned so much from you about setting up and looking after my guitars. I often get positive comments when other players pick up one of my guitars about how good they play and feel. Just a question, have you moved away from using Nevr-Dull to polish frets? I have a Revstar 502T, I think they are one of the most under-rated guitars- so good. I changed out the stock P90s with Mojotone Quiet P90 because I hate 60 cycle hum. I actually prefer the tone of the Revstar P90s but hey, it still sounds great.
Thanks so much for the nice comment! No - I still use it but when the frets are as sticky as they were I use the erasers. I use the Nevr Dull when they only need a smooth polishing...I hope it helps!
Hey Cesar I have a question. Have you ever experienced your SLG200 overheating? The other day I had my SLG200s plugged in to my fender mustang GT40 amp but then also had headphones plugged into the amp for the first time and I dont know if that caused it, being too much power for the headphones to take. But my guitar shut off like my batteries died and as I pull them out and they are burning hot. They weren't backwards and theyre energizer lithium. I had been using that set for a couple weeks so its not like i changed anything. I cant find any related situation so I was just curious since you've had a few.
Thanks Brad... That is news to me - I always use my SLG's ( nylon and steel strings ) through the PA, never through and amp... I am sorry, I can not help here....
